Both ep 35 and 36 went by too quickly. Can't wait for the next 2 tomorrow, I think.

Whenever they pay attention to the quiet ones in a drama, you know something is brewing in the background.

I binged Pearl Eclipse and caught up 😭. I'm sad because I can't wait for the next ep. I really enjoyed it so far. I think it's one that I 'd rewatch. I'm really happy that I found a drama that had me glued to the screen.

I haven't watched or read any of the side stories. Is this a stand alone or does it build on the other Novoland dramas? In other words, can I watch this now without seeing the others?

Just started watching. Figured I can watch a few eps a week and maybe it will be close to the end when I catch up. 哈哈哈

I watched a few other dramas from Taiwan and China that were 50-70+ episodes before I heard about Yanxi Palace. Then, I started working 60, 70, and even 80 hours per week. My FT job just melted away, so I will have more time for long dramas. I just like to know that they might be worthwhile before I invest my time. LOL

I've only watched a few Korean dramas because I'm learning Chinese and want to hear it used as much as possible.

Did you watch Legend of Concubine Zhen Huan? Thoughts?
