I think they’re just became really good friend and are comfortable. Both are at a good developing phase and after the last rumors for both from previous work partners, neither will want to fall into that trap. Just hard for fans since they’re chemistry is so great.
I try not to ship but there’s a few pairings that just have so much natural chemistry. So I just usually follow both in their works and see how they end up in future.

Then they traced the IP of the person who deleted the items using HN’s opening as coming from within L&P which shut Gao up and he had to back off. He told the cops they’ll handle it in-house. If you watch their interactions after the hot tub scene, if ZY had instigated anything towards him again, he would have been a goner and not resisted. That’s basically what he meant when he said that after the bedroom scene. You can see from all their flirtations, setting up his apartment, cooking together, etc. It wouldn't have lasted till the slap scene.

Yeah…she matched anger with anger in that scene in ep27. “ If I’m together with him, so what? Yeah I liked you but ask anyone who remembers love from when they were 18 years old.” Out of anger, she threw it in his face that relationships in the youth are not memorable…then of course he calmly counters with everything he remembers.

Had to switch to Under the Queen’s Umbrella a K-drama to try and ween myself off L&P. But I still go back to L&P because it just doesn’t hit the same.
