Yeah…I think LQ rejected Ms. Gao. Also, in a different ep15 trailer, LQ already warned Ms. Gao to stop her antics.
The concubine issue is all because ZBN is currently too weak to be intimate with LQ due to the poisoning. In the Drama Trailer, it shows Ms. Gao taking advantage of this and planting the idea of having someone else carry ML’s children.
From most of the trailers, they will stay true to that part of the novel where LQ is true to ZBN and has no concubines no matter who tries to give him one. I was reading the epilogue in the novel and it’s hilarious because they have a daughter and the daughter keeps hoping her dad (LQ) would accept a concubine so that she can have a sister/sibling since her brother is a lot older than her. But loyal and loving LQ won’t satisfy his daughter’s wish. 😆
