I think Ultimate Note is where JZ and LYN friendship started. It got good reviews due to the friendships/bromance. Even though it’s part of a series, it can be understood on its own.

JJY definitely needs to get out from under her agency. I actually want to see how JZ does in “Hi Venus” since I haven’t seen his modern shows except for bits of Ultimate Note.

No matter how much exposure she’s getting here, she’s not catching my interest as an actress to want to see her in lead parts. She reminds me of the characters played by the actress who played GTY’s baby mama in TSOML and middle sister in Legend of Dugu. The voice and facial expression in how some of the lines are delivered 🤢

Yeap…Han Tongxin is the new Empress Dowager and in the ep35 preview, GMR said she was poisoned for 3 months and was going to die soon. Or I’m getting them all mixed up…too many Dowagers…but one of them is getting poisoned.

Hmm…looking at ep35 spoiler, the new Empress Dowager is being poisoned. Making me wonder if they’re meshing up the timelines of the regent roles because of the number of episodes left. Someone said earlier that the order goes ZBN, Empress Dowager, the ZX but Empress Dowager is getting poisoned while ZBN is Regent…so does that mean ZX is moving up his game? In ep35 ZBN also says to LQ that ZX has changed, they’ve all changed. If this is the case, then looking at some of the other trailers and ep 35 previews, I can definitely see LQ and ZBN putting on an act like when she left him kneeling for hours in ep 6.

They already did the time leap…the magic drama growth spurt for the baby that was born a couple episodes before our ML got married 🤦🏻‍♀️ It just wasn’t obvious for the viewers since our focus is LQ/ZBN.

I was rewatching ep20 and realize that the guy that tries to stab LQ in ep 36 is the butler from the Li mansion in their hometown so looks like things are not what it seems in the Li household.

I think it is an act. It looks like their drawing the traitors out based on 35/36 previews.

Hope so. It’s annoying since both ZX and GMR will be in and out of the palace constantly.

Looking at Li Yi Zhen’s profile, she was supposed to be MFL in a drama with ZZH after this one(replaced PMY). Probably why they gave her so much screen time to promote her. Wonder what’s going to happen now that ZZH is banned. Just sucks for our MLs in this drama since it’s taking away their screen time. 😒

Yeah…it’s not a cdrama if they don’t sprinkle a little bit of that in. Just waiting for ZBN to give up the Regency and leave the palace. I’m only watching for their cute moments now and trying my best to ignore GMR and ZX.

I don’t think anything happened with the other girl. LQ probably just wants to piss off ZBN and put on a show again. Probably because she’s so caught up with being Regent and also ZX being around.

I think the misunderstandings start as GMR and ZX team together after seeing the 31/32 previews. JBN becomes a little obsessive with being regent and ZX is still an official. One of the previews I saw, ZX had LQ arrested without ZBN knowing.

Luckily it will be a happy ending as ZBN will give up the Regent role to have a normal life with LQ like how her grandmother wanted…at least I think that’s how they’ll end the drama since it’s 40 ep. It would need to be longer if they do the whole novel cause I think in the novel, they live happily away from court until ZX and kid puppet emperor screws things up so LQ goes to battle and ends up as Emperor. This part of the novel kind of reminds me of Legend of Dugu and Yang Jian of Sui Dynasty; how a non-royal becomes emperor.

I thought I was the only who thought that. It really explains why Gao is getting so much screen time and why they strayed from the novel in this part.

Looking at the BTS scenes on Tencent app, it looks like ZX will continue to take things out on LQ while ZBN is regent. So they’ll definitely have their hardships and possible misunderstandings to come. It’s not a historical Cdrama if the baddies don’t have nine lives with their obsessions and get away with everything only to commit suicide at the end to escape punishment.

It’s supposed to be a rebirth plot according to the novel but they changed FnE to where FL was dubbing the OnO drama as OnO FL’s voice. ML’s name in FnE was the same as the ML in the drama she was dubbing and her connection to the drama’s characters made her drawn to him at first. I guess that’s the closest they can come to reincarnation?

I think some teenager actually did commit suicide for that reason after watching one of the drama years ago which is why they started banning the reincarnation themes.
