The latest trailer upped my expectations yet again. Yukee Chen seems to have been made for this sort of role and Dylan Wang’s interaction with her and the rest of the cast shows once again his growth as an actor. 7 more hours to go…

On the other hand, we can say it shows confidence in this show that it will be able to withstand the other shows slated for broadcast in January. We win either way! Haha

Apologies I just saw the official calendar - they’re not releasing it everyday anymore! 4 eps released tomorrow then 2 per day until 3 January. After that 2 eps a day Sunday to Tuesday. Final two episodes on 24 January. Sob!

Just saw previews for first four episodes on iQiyi’s mainland app, looks so addictive. It must either be great editing or just a really good show. Either way, I can’t wait!

I can’t post pictures here for some reason but they will release 4 eps tomorrow and then 2 every day. Hence 2x16 days + 4 (on day 1) = 36 eps :)

ML and FL are dubbed. The only person I’m sure hasn’t been dubbed is the Empress. Same voice as her character + BTS in love like the galaxy. Not sure about the rest.

It’s all over Weibo. They’re releasing 2 episodes everyday for 17 straight days. That’s how i know it is 36 eps.

It is because it was published in the airing schedule so it is now known to all that there will be 36 eps. Was hoping for 40! :)

Actually I quite like the dubbing for FL, very much in line with how I read her character to be from the novel and also from the audio book. Dylan is dubbed by the same person who dubbed Bai Jue in Ancient Love Poetry and for some reason, I feel the new trailer has his voice sped up and higher. Loved the vocal depth in the original trailer and hope they retained that!

When are they delaying airing until? Means no uploading of new eps tomorrow evening (Christmas)?

haha I watched both episodes in one loooong sitting and when the naming scene came I just thought wait a minute, hasn't she been named already? LOL. Thankfully like you said, it doesn't impede the plot or disrupt the flow.

Anyone noticed that when Gu Jun presented the egg to the immortals at Muguang's wedding, he said this is my daughter Houchi. But later on, it was shown that Bai Jue / Boxuan only named her after breaking out of her shell? That was jarring for someone who binged watched the episodes at one go!
