Why is it suddenly a problem, when no one ever said ANYTHING about LOTS of female characters who are also generals/fight well, for example game characters that have huge chests and wear impossibly short mini skirts and also put on makeup, that have nothing to do with fighting. Why is it that this, a norm that benefits the male gaze, none of them said anything about it. But when a male general is "pretty", it suddenly hurts their ego and it is "wrong" and "historically inaccurate".
In the first place POJ didn't even claim to be a historically accurate drama. It is a script that is written from an online novel, for god's sake. And why do they put out this notice right before POJ is about to end? Probably because it got too popular. This world hates women too much.
