No.. LnR is one of the best drama.. even though there is a lot of misunderstanding, i think it's okay for the plot. The angst is actually in a good way, i mean dramawise.. we feel sympathetic and love to sifeng (CY) because of that.. in any way, i love LnR a lot. And CY acting is superb.. don't miss it.

Maybe because he knows that FDB will never let him... or maybe because he himself is selfish, he doesn't want ppl he loves see him in his worst situation.. to be remembered in his worst state.

But if FDB got the closure, then we also got the closure.. then, the ending is not an open ending.. then, if one day, out of the blue moon, they want to make MLC season 2.. they can't... so.. it's okay...

I think even though this drama has a distinctive similar feeling of ending to stand by me, but the char building and the feeling of overall drama is totally different. The emperor motivation is his must success regarding all risk including his life.. but LLH is about letting go of what we can't control and forgiving towards ppl. I like both in diff way. Since I'm also feeling okay with SBM ending.

But in overall drama, plotwise and direction.. MLC is a lot better. Less dramatic or plot holes. Maybe because SBM is a romance drama, i like the couple.. but 'accidentally falling then hug and kiss' is so overused lol. Also, emperor stabbing himself too many times, it get me annoyed lol.

But this drama is based from the novel. As the nature of the story and being true to the novel, an open ending is good for this drama. As for me, i see MLC as HE. It's up to viewer to interpret.

But i know some drama which have happy ending in the novel become open ending in the drama such as the untamed and WOH. So for case like this, it's weird that they force the open ending.

Agree with you. Im glad you can still enjoy the drama while i can't. The story is already beautiful but with so much adjustment and changes for i dont know what reason.. it's hard for me to accept at this point.

I agree with you, the 1st life is so important in the novel but what r they doing w the hystory of 30000 years ago? Maybe they want this to directly relate to LBFAD? I dont know..

The problem is, when i heard about this adaptation.. i was so excited and happy.. honestly, I'm a huge fan of the novel, i think i read it at least twice... so, without the novel, I'm not even sure I'll be interested w this drama since i dont really follow either the ml or fl as an actor. I even think that the 2ml is better looking than ml.

But, we will see later. Im still thinking to watch the 1st life (2nd life in the drama).. to make my mind.
