Overall, i think this drama is enjoyable in it's own way.

To be honest, my white moon MLC can't be touched! LOL! but If we want to compare excitement of early 6 eps, it's the journey of the legend for me. Then SaB.. Sigh.. If only the scriptwriter didn't go drunk writing this drama on 2nd half.. But actually, personally I still really enjoy this drama up until ep. 21.. but, after that... really... tho last 4 eps kinda healed me a bit..

I watched BR 1st.. I dropped after ep. 2, i will not elaborate why, so I disagree. You can love BR, it's your choice.

I was worried too but the trailer they released show very high quality. I am hoping of everything goes well for this drama.

Other 6 drama that airs at the same time.. their total voters together is 190k, tho this drama get 6.0, it has 232k raters.. because of CY popularity. So i say this drama is popular just because of CY.

The non-existent sibling bond i must say.. because like madam Yin said.. they are not even real sibling! This plot addition is purely to shine up FL char but failed miserably.

I am totally think that those who said WQFG is immoral simply doesn't understand this drama or they are very bias and trying to find a nonexistent fault of this character. In other words, they are a troll. They probably the FL fan and trying to whitewash her OOC throughout of this drama when 99% who actually watching this drama agree that QingTong is OOC with her spider duo QingCheng. And this arc actually pull down the whole drama. Even, after QC dying, QT didn't fail to remind us of this hateful character.

WQFG is true to his character design till the end and ChengYi portrays this character excellently. The beginning and ending connecting that actually save this drama from the messy middle (specifically TongCheng plot). And WQFG is so great that the world don't actually deserve him. And, maybe unpopular opinion, I love Wang Fugui (modern WQFG in anime), although he is a brat, he is loved and pampered by everyone. He deserved that. And if u guys watch original IP, QT is very lovable just like the 1st 13 eps of this drama... before, u know what happen,, huhu..

If you have time, watching #2 of the series - Love in Pavilion will give you more depth of understanding this drama. You can totally skip #1 of this series as they are not really related in story telling.

i am still bitter that they delete the river god demon arc. for what? for more spider duo arc? it is such an important plot progress. i feel bad for the supporting actor that spend the whole day filming. And we know, how they make CY filming all day and night just to end up cut it. I feel bad, that CY didnt know and even said it was his fav scene during livestream. sigh.. all those who try to blame CY, either they are blinds or super bias.
