there are some reasons : 1) some actors have really thick accent that might affect how the dialogue being delivered and not fit for the characters. 2) actor's voice did not fit the character. 3) dubbing saves them lot of time on set, no need to retake bcs of noises. 4) even tho it's released for international viewers only, doesn't mean chinese won't watch it and chinese are strict asf. as much as they want international recognition, national recognition means wayy more for them.

The unedited version is still uncertain, we don't know exactly when "after the show done airing" is. It might be months or even years later bcs we're talking about mainland china here. Also I don't think the edited and unedited version will have much differences, maybe just more duration when they looking or hugging each other, nothing explicit. Basically it's not the untamed fans who did it. It's antis doing. So much people hating on this drama because they are very popular and they thought hating on this drama make them look 'cool'. And most of antis are the actors who played the untamed' antis. I'm sorry if this affecting other drama's rate too. But really, antis are more dedicated than fan itself, we just can't stop them-
