I was thinking that Mizuki's friend (Tsuno?) might try to make a move on her just to hurt Natsu because he's jealous of him.

Or move on without either guy. Many strong women are perfectly capable to live their life, raise their daughter and be successful without a guy in their life.

Haven't watched the original version but will surely watch this one due to the cast I can't watch the original…
I'm the same as you, can't or struggle to watch longer than 16 eps. But I did watch this one it was well worth the length. Most JDrama;s are short so I watch alot of those.

I think we need a Season 2 or two more episodes. I liked the leads and could see a connection beginning between them. But if her brain was put in his body that'll kill any possible love line should there be a Season 2
