GKP’s acting versatility is incredible! I watched 6/45 while watching this show a few weeks ago and it took me a while to ‘unsee’ his character in the movie or else I wouldn’t be able to see Ji Ho the same way lol

Ah I see. Keep watching and you’ll probably think the same thing hehe. The show is doing a good job at keeping you guessing till the very end even after such a revelation!

I don’t think he’s the mastermind though. He’s either an accomplice or just a puppet. Well we’ll know soon enough.

I have a few wishes:
- Those … ahem … fantasies to come true
- A wedding scene
- Gwang Nam to follow his dream whatever it is and be the happiest

I just love Ji Ho and Gwang Nam and my love for them grows every episode. Gwang Nam is the sun ☀, Ji Ho is the moon ☽, and Sang Eun, I could say she’s the star ⭑ that moves and shines in her own way, but let’s be honest she shines and sparkles the most when around her sun and moon.

Unfortunately this wasn’t the first time such a tragedy happened. It was usually due to both things you mentioned, people attempted to do something (in this case rushing to a bar according to some local media reports) and/or tried to get out causing the crowd to start to push forward and step on each other, the cause of death in most cases (like what happened in Itaewon) was suffocation. From what I’ve read, it was super crowded there wasn’t even enough room to make a tiniest movement, let alone run.

I’d hate to see that too, can't even begin to imagine! Like, what world is he living in? Well, his own mind and imagination obviously. He claimed he and the FL confirmed their feelings after a forced kiss in a drunken night out, and often says he knows and understands her more than Ji Ho or anyone else does when all he does is to dismiss her words and show no respect for her wishes. Who would want that kind of love and understanding? OK, thanks but no thanks.

Does KHJ even understand Korean? Does he always have to wait for subs like most of us do to understand what Sang Eun says and what she wants?

I never hated KHJ, just don't really like him, but it was the breaking point for me in Ep 12 when he had the audacity to ask Sang Eun to marry him when just less than a sec before she literally said (again) that she wanted to live her own life and that evening would be her last mission. Let's get married and you can still be in a relationship with Ji Ho. Seriously? What was that?

I rarely rewatch anything but each recent episode just had to have so many frustrating scenes and unnecessary dramas to the point I couldn't really enjoy the rare happy beautiful moments due to the frustration even though I already skipped enough of such scenes. Romcom how? :( So I would give it some time to calm my nerves and rewatch my favourite scenes the next day. The experience was always so much better!

Today’s ep had some really good moments. Loved that Gwang Nam and Ji Ho, the most important people in Sang Eun’s life finally met and talked. Also super glad the ‘stay away from each other’ didn’t happen, and that it didn’t take Sang Eun too long after the press conference to finally break things off with KHJ and come clean to Ji Ho’s coworkers.

Glad you enjoyed Jirisan! I also watched it for the leads and really liked it too (I admit I'd love a little more romance even though I usually watch dark dramas where romance can be super subtle to non-existent but this show had some untapped potential or maybe because I just loved the leads together haha).

Hope you'll enjoy Little Women as much as I did!

And oh, out of the 2 dramas you mentioned, I've only seen Jirisan. Just out of curiosity, did you like it? How was it for you?

Oh they aren’t exactly white collar politics (Little women yes but there's more to it than just that), but your fanfic definitely has some points that remind me of those two shows (also because I’ve just finished them quite recently so they're fresh in my mind). You can read the synopses for a rough idea of the genres, what they’re about and if they intrigue you but if asked about my personal experience, I'd say Awaken was an OK watch, which didn’t reach my top list so no comment haha. I gave Little women a 9, it was a wild ride in a good way! I’m lazy so here’s what I wrote when someone asked whether they should watch Little Women (a warning that many found the 3 FLs dumb and unlikeable. I enjoyed watching them but could see why others didn't lol):

If you like fast paced dramas full of suspense and packed with twists and turns to the point you’ll never know what to expect next, and if you don’t mind flawed characters who weren’t born superheroes, who will make you raise your eyebrows, shake your head and question their choices from time to time yet you can’t help rooting for them or at least being curious about what’ll happen to them and what decisions and choices they’ll make then I’d say go for it.

If you prefer super smart leads who always know what’s up and have others rely on their every decision then this one is probably not for you.
