The two are anthology series that deal with some pretty messed up people. GFN is much better written, but both are good. Episodes 2,4, and 7 of TDDUP are really good, I loved them.

Container is a really simple and dark short film with a mini twist. It feels like it could fit right in with one of the Horror Story movies.

They both deal with with traumatic experiences. Gong Ju is a bit darker and a lot less hopeful, but they really open your eyes to how unfair reality can be. I think that everyone should watch these. CMASR is a beautiful movie, the special friendship between Sen Xi and Yi Yao is really really amazing.

They are both dark with romance. In Take Me Home, the romance isn't a central theme, but it's still there. The way that they are filmed give them similar tones.
