This drama while most definitely not the best out there, was pleasantly watchable. It began smoothly, and ended without dragging too much, something I feel Taiwanese dramas always struggle to do. The lead couples chemistry was believable and sweet, and their love story while cliche and often times a bit needlessly interconnected past wise, was something that warmed your heart. I often found myself smiling helplessly at how the two interacted. But otherwise, this drama was a bit scatter brained, especially towards the end. After episode 13, we found the characters consistently making uncharacteristic choices that the script later marks up to "Murphys Law". A characteristic of our female lead that in all honesty stopped being a real plot carrier after episode 2. The main downfall of this drama though had nothing to do with it being a bit all over the place, but with the fact that it was an overall forgettable experience. It's not a show I'll think about tomorrow. They're not characters that'll make me wish I had just one more episode. It wasn't a story that makes me want anything more. The beginning was good, the middle sometimes messy and unclear, and the ending was just fine. But it takes an exceptional script writer to make a drama where nothing much happens each episode into a show that consistently makes a viewer interested in tuning in and rewatching. This drama just didn't have that kind of potential. But, if you're looking for a light fun forgettable watch, this drama is just that, and the music is pretty catchy.
