y'all can complain all you want, doesn't change the fact LBC is one of the best gay shows, has good actors, amazing…
The only complaint I have (which I'd barely call it a complaint) is Pete's character. I feel like Saint is great actor, but all Pete does is smile about everything like that's the only emotion he can show. I definitely think the chemistry is amazing, but I just wish Pete had a bit more depth like Ae. Like don't get me wrong, Saint is amazing! Outside of the show, his personality is adorable & sweet. But as Pete, I feel there's just not a lot of depth character wise. Other than that, everything is phenomenal. (I just hope they don't go the "rape route" between KlengNo like I've heard is how the novel goes)
Seems like they are holding an audition to find new cast members... hope it's just for supporting characters and…
No, the casting sheet asks which role to audition for & the whole main cast is listed as open for auditioning as. So sadly, it seems like it'll be a whole new cast....
the scene with the earphones and blindfold was cute i guessnothing else made sense i dunno how i managed to finish…
Man, you're giving more credit than me. I'm one to almost never hate something, but I gave this show a 2 out of 10. Lol, it was SO hard for me to finish it!!
I'm honestly incredibly surprised the ratings aren't lower than they are. I barely even managed to finish this. I was about to drop int at around episode 6, & actually did put it off for about a month or so, but decided to finally get back to it just for the sake of finishing it. But I'll be honest, I skipped through it a lot & mainly stuck around for GordMorn. There was a lot of potential & the acting itself wasn't horrible, but I don't get where the directors were going. It was so damn messy & I was nothing but confused. & when I thought that I'd finally get what was going on, I'd go right back to being confused again. I wish GMM's "The Gifted" got more attention that this show did because that one is actually amazing & SO much better!!
So true... basically they choose Bas because of some crazy fangirls that seen some chemistry between him and Gxood...…
I know this is old, but they actually chose Bas because he isn't gay in real life (or not open about it at least). They wanted an all straight cast for 2Moons (& basically all GMM shows) & since Newyear is gay, they turned him down.
The trailer was bad. So... Again... Korn and Knock will break up at the very first obstacle, perhaps spend a whole…
I absolutely agree with you, however on a way I get why dramas do that. Every story needs a conflict & a resolve. Especially when the show is longer. This one is only 13 episodes, but an hour each. So they have to fill it in as much as possible. I just hope they don't go overboard with the conflict & make it drag.
Can someone help me find good subs? Lan_lan doesn't seem to be accepting random requests anymore & I'm desperate. All the other subs I'm finding aren't that good & not even fully subbed. ://
I like that this show is about plastic surgery because it's such a taboo subject. As someone who's never had plastic surgery, I feel it isn't bad to have it if that 's what you want. What's wrong with wanting to be more confident? Everyone has insecurities. In this show, Mi Rae wasn't even aiming to be beautiful. She was just aiming to be treated like a normal human being. Living in a world that's obsessed with beauty, why is it wrong to want not want to be made fun of? If someone wants to change themselves to be more confident, then let them. It's their body, not yours.
So I remember Hana yori Dango as a terribly abusive, psychological mess treating people like garbage. And I was…
This one is much different because it's not a remake. This one is a sequel with a whole different set of characters & story line. I admit "Hana Yori Dango" used to be my all time favorite drama until I realized how actually shitty Domyoji is. In this series however, Haruto is SOOOO much better in terms of personality. He's still a bit on the childish side, but from where I've watched up to & what I've seen so far in the manga, he's not abusive in any kind of way like how Domyoji is. I prefer this series much more to be honest.
I haven't read the full article yet, but I just had to comment. Honestly, this is an article I didn't even know I really needed until now! I consider myself an Asian drama fan rather than just strictly a Kdrama or Jdrama fan. I watch Korean, Japanese, Thai, Taiwanese, Chinese, & until they were all taken off the Internet, Filipino dramas. However, when I first started dramas years ago, I started with Japanese & stuck with them more than any others until finally branching out a few months later. I preferred the Japanese ones I think more because I took Japanese for a couple years & more more accustomed to the language. However I'm insanely glad I branched out. To be honest, I used to find the Japanese actors more attractive than the Korean, so I never understood how people said it the other way around. I still see people complain over Yamamoto Yusuke's looks, especially in "Ouran" & my main question is always H O W?!
It's fun, but so far miles away from the first two Hana Yori Dango seasons. I like Oto, her actress seems to be…
....have you read the manga?? Haruto is supposed to be a wimp. It's one of his insecurities that he tries hard to change. If they follow the manga, his character will change immensely, in my opinion, he has a better character development than Tsukasa did. Also, Hirano isn't ugly, so idk what you're talking about. The other C5 characters (aside from two of them as of right now from what I've read up to) have major importance to the story. It just takes a bit to get there. We're already starting to get to Airi's. (If you wanna complain about that though, then you should also be complaining about the importance of Akira's character in HYD since he literally had no development at all & added nothing to the story)
"HANA NOCHI HARE" IS NOT ABOUT TSUKUSHI & TSUKASA. If you're gonna get pissy about that, then go watch HYD again. Even in the manga, there isn't any present day cameos of neither Tsukasa or Tsukushi. They're following the manga, not the fantasies of "long time fans". I'm a long time fan myself, & I'd rather they follow the manga the way they are then steer into a direction outside of it just to please people who haven't even read one chapter of what it's based on.
Not a fan of the first BOF (nor its many remakes) but I'm liking this so far. Haruto seems nicer than the previous…
His character is much different than Domyoji's. I like how Yoko Kamio wrote Haruto a little more than how she wrote Domyoji. Like I love Tsukasa & his character development, but he's like a toddler who throws a hissy fit when he doesn't get his way. Haruto seems more mature. Like he still has moments where he says & does the wrong things, but he learns from his mistakes a lot better than Tsukasa did.
A F4 member is expected to appear in the next episode! I think Rui is probably the most likely candidate, though…
Based on the manga, Rui shows up super briefly in the fire escape area that he always met Makino in. Then Sojiroh shows up as well at some point to help teach Haruto archery. If they go off of the manga, then Rui would be the one to make a cameo next.
I'll also be extremely upset if we never find out who Yim's lover(?) is.
Other than that, everything is phenomenal. (I just hope they don't go the "rape route" between KlengNo like I've heard is how the novel goes)
