Guys, READ THE SYNOPSIS. This is NOT a remake of "Hana Yori Dango/Boys Over Flowers". It's a SEQUEL. It's based on the manga series, which is also a sequel to HYD.
Don't compare this to HYD 'cause they're completely different stories with different characters & backgrounds.
Judge it based on it's own series please.

I thought the story was supposed to take place three years after the original story? Like it's been a little while since I read the manga, but I vaguely remember it being 3.

There's actually a reason why they're called Correct 5, but it's still super cringy either way. Lol

I believe it's under the same name as this drama.
I'm pretty sure the site I was reading it with English translations was KissManga. Either that or Mangago.

This isn't a remake, it's a sequel. There's different characters & a different story. The F4 & Makino aren't in it (in the manga they're mentioned & a couple of them show up as side characters, but it revolves around a whole new set of characters).

This sounds like it's gonna be a frustrating mess, angsty plot wise....

I myself am very excited for this drama. To the point where I binge read all the chapters I could find subbed the past three days. However, as much as I am so super psyched for this drama, please don't give any ratings until it has aired.
That bugs the crap out of me. If you are hopeful that it'd be good, then that's understandable. But that doesn't mean you should already give it a rating based on hope, without even seeing it.
It should air this spring, so just wait until then before giving any stars please.

The ONLY good version of "Itazura na Kiss" is the Thai version, "Kiss Me".
It may not follow the manga or anime as closely as the others, but man, it was actually believable. The acting & chemistry was phenomenal. Mike really knows how to show Tenten's true feelings while still coming off kind of cold. & THE SECOND MALE LEAD WAS ACTUALLY A THREAT. It irked me to know end that it was so blatantly obvious that there would be no chance at all for the second male lead. & it irked me even more that she'd randomly announce she was gonna marry him & Naoki randomly gets super jealous, even knowing himself she'd never do it. King had an actual possible chance.

See, I don't get that surprised when people say they love "Meteor Garden" IF they're strictly talking about season 1. Season 2 is nothing but Dao Ming Si suffering amnesia & falling for another girl. & ends with him suddenly remembering his love for Dong Shan Cai & breaking things off with the other girl. It's so ridiculously frustrating to me & way too long. I never finished the manga so I'm not sure if it followed the manga better, but man, even if it did, it's a trainwreck.

As much as I would love to agree because I love LGBT+ being represented, I don't think it was here. Maybe possibly I could see the "one-sided gay love" thing if you're talking about the Dragon Prince, but the Summer Fairy character was not a trans person, nor were they trying to make that kind of statement. If anything, the closest thing it'd fall under would be cross dressing, but even then, that's not what the character was. It was a cis female soul placed in her brother's body.

PK is alright, but loses Bu Ja & the Dragon Prince who was inside Alice (as you see in 19).
I'm basing this next part on what I've seen other people say, I haven't been able to watch it fully subbed yet so some parts I don't know are a hundred percent true, dialog wise, but from what I read, we don't know when exactly Bu Ja disappears, but Ah Sa Nyeo says Bu Ja is no longer remaining in the body. There is a part where Alice (since the Dragon Prince is no longer in her body, has no recollection of anything) shows a photo she doesn't remember taking on her phone that is of the Summer Fairy, Bu Ja, the Dragon Prince/Alice, & PK. From that photo, he gets choked up realizing he's the only one left & even tears up. (Which broke my damn heart! Honestly Hongki's acting was by far my favorite, next to Cha Seung Won [Ma Wang], in this entire drama.)

I've heard that the story between Peng Ze & Zhen Zhen is very heart breaking & frustrating. I haven't been able to read the whole story since I can't find it all subbed, but an Instagram account I follow that drops spoilers says that their storyline is mostly PZ being a jerk to ZZ.

I disagree though. I mean for all I know, I could totally be wrong, so take my comment lightly, but I think PK claims his feelings are in a sibling way, but deep down, has romantic feelings for Bu Ja. I think most of the other characters think the same, but don't mention it. They know that he's very protective of her, like how Ma Wang didn't want it mentioned to PK that Ah Sa Nyeo was working with Bu Ja's killer because he knew how he'd react. He would kill someone for Bu Ja, to which he tried when Jin Seon Mi wasn't Sam Jang anymore.
On top of that, Ah Sa Nyeo even mentioned his feelings, "You really love her that much?", to which he didn't answer, & just left after telling her to keep low & stay out of trouble. I don't think it was said as a sibling brush off, but as a way of them figuring out the feelings between them.
I personally hope they do somehow become an item in the end because I truly find them adorable. I think there was such a build up in their relationship that I would actually feel disappointed if they just leave their as nothing.

If Bu Ja & Pal Gye don't somehow have a happy ending, I will raise hell!!!!
They've been my favorite ship since they started getting closer, so the writers better not do me dirty!!

Eh, I don't know. Personally for me, I think their kiss scenes are a little awkward. Definitely far from bad, but just slightly off. They don't look completely natural to me. It still gives off a little "this is kind of uncomfortable, please yell 'cut!' soon." vibe for me.
But I will agree it's much better than a lot of kiss scenes I've seen.
