LOL, they already spoiler us w/ the first teaser exposing the return of Naksu in her OG self, so I expect a full on GYJ on those promo poster soon.

Don’t expect anything this week, South Korean are in a state of morning due to today’s 140+ casualties from itaewon Halloween celebration. Many events have been canceled. It not a good idea to release any promo materials when this news is all over the media(internationally too).

If u r watching for the character, then you’ll be rooting for the main leading lady Nasku ( originally played by GYJ, who opens and closes this drama) & appreciate such move never done before. The how? We’ll, you’ll just have to wait and find out like the rest of us when part2 airs in December.
If you watch for the actors, just go into it expecting JSM to tragically but epically exit. Her performances is not to be missed. She hasn’t gotten any hits in years and this drama really brought her back to int’l appeal.

You know what sucks more, the fact that the fighting, that so called copy outfit, and CGI are ALL done better here. 🤣

If I was watching this drama for the romance only, absolutely, if at the end of Pt2, the romance is not that there, I'll definitely be disappointed. Luckily, I'm just NOT & there are far enough of other factors that made me stay(Supporting cast, CGI, fights, story, ect).

When I first watch this drama, I expected that JSM will continue to play Naksu all the way to the end. However, as soon as BY's story started surfacing, I knew it then that there's no way Nasku will continue to stay in BY's body. So half way through Pt1, I watch the drama expecting GYJ to come back or for Naksu to move on to another host already (I came prepare y'all).

People always argue that there's nothing new anymore in story telling. Now that it's happening, Isn't it awesome that we are witnessing this new element that producers are so afraid to do now finally introduced. Some fans went crazy mad & even encourage others to boycott, others don't care, and surprisingly I'm seeing just as many people happy /voicing their support because it makes sense.

I am glad I'm not one for the romance. Although I did like how real it was developed but like any couple they wane down. I feel that the later part of this drama, I didn't care for the romance and it got boring. By the end of Part1, my focus was somewhere else. I was just so upset at how our leads die especially Nasku. Our leading lady lost everybody that loved her and was used and discarded like garbage. Her staying in BY's body does nothing to conclude her life or BY. To me, even if Uk and her don't end up together (which is unlikely) or the romance don't give us the butterflies, I don't care. All I want is a good story telling, good GCI work, and great fighting sequence to conclude this world of Alchemy and Souls. Naksu deserve to fly away like a bird and be free as she deserves.

No drama has Ever dear to switch the lead, but here it makes sense. We can all appreciate something new in storytelling. That so call “bubbly/sweet/loving personality” was Nasku’s disguise. The teaser clearly shows a very different Naksu. Now that She is back to her old body, she has a free range to play as it fit & no need to replicate what JSM has done(including that annoying dialect). GYJ’s visual is a bonus.Your comment is pathetic.

We know her story hasn’t end, little BY was on the set for the last2 weeks or so. It’s interesting because even in Part1, in the icestone realm, Naksu was talking to both the younger and older BY… which makes us wonder if there’s a total of 3 souls in BY’s body. Maybe the last icestone was save to preserve SR’s soul & then unknowingly, JG moved her soul over to BY’s body to help keep it alive because I haven’t hear any theory on why there’s little BY, Older BY, and Naksu talking together.

No argument: Naksu and ParkJin had the best fights among all the others (GCI, Length, Scenic, ect). I watched many Chinese Actress in xianxia fights and even so, it's hard to beat w/ Naksu here.

GYJ gave this tough, ignorant, and killer instinct to Naksu. Her movement were hard hitting & when she was injury or hurt she acts w/ vengeance. When other character mentions Naksu's name, we only see GYJ's visual as Naksu, because she gave that much of an impression. Whereas JSM, came off as stiff but elegant w/ her turn and swing( but it makes sense w/in the character at the time as she was possess & didn't want to commit those action).

Despite many vocal their discontent w/ GYJ's taking over Part2, but I was surprise to see as many voice their supportive of Her and we have to credit to the way she portray the image of Naksu and the trajectory of the storyline.

I did not watch this drama for her or any actors. I stick w/ it because of its unique story line and production values. JSM chose to accept this project knowing full well the outcome will Benefits her and expand her resume. So this narrative of saying she was helping the director is laughable. This type of role aren’t typically offered to her anyway & it shows because they clearly had others in mind. Why don’t u be thankful to the director for offering this role to her. She has had the most spotlight/hashtags in recent years & definitely looks to be looking a good projects to come.

You want us to join u and be offended w/ you. Why is that so important? It can’t be helped, it’s human nature. Even a mother forget their baby on a train. Nobody here cares because JSM is bathing in AOS success already.

Her agency is new and she is likely still in contract, but GYJ will likely move agency if she want to continue as an actress. I didn’t know who GYJ was so I did looked her up and agreed this girl has gotten some of the the biggest commercials/representatives work. Kind of said a lot about Korean beauty standards. Even some of the biggest k-actors don’t get to that kind big endorsement. Examples: -

It is a time to celebrate both LJW and the Director achievements and yet it end up being all about JSM not being mentioned. From Twitter, Few of JSM’s bias are posting for the failure of AOS2 and to watch only on illegal sites. The award isn’t about JSM!

Just because you felt shame/ weird by it, doesn’t mean he did anything wrong. The director don’t need to say any person’s name at all. He missed/forgot her name, so what? It’s too late. Isn’t it more embarrassing to keep complaining about this and Alway pinning JSM in a pitiful spot?

When she was filming for pt1, she hardly update her Vlog on her YouTube or IG, but she’s been very active & also going on promote for her movie. It doesn’t seem she is filming at all for Pt2 so far. Perhaps she filmed some on Pt1 or is secretly filming that we weren’t aware. Honestly, she doesn’t have a project at the moment and can definitely make time. Even with GYJ, we got NO spoiler at all. I’ll say I would not be surprised if she has more scene than expected from none.

If you didn't watch, then your assessment of it being "overrated" is irrelevant.

It's actually a very good story tale. Since you not gonna watch.. I'll explain why... Female lead's whole gang were killed off & felt betray by her love . He dies in her hands , she went kind off crazy killing many people, got punish through death by watching over those passing through the underworld. Through the people she encounters she came to understand love again and find the truth of her original madness (her love chose to save her against all her gang member, he felt guilty & chose death). All along, she came to find out that the little firefly beside her has been her prior love all along as he refuse to reincarnate. She however has move one to love the leading man. Eventually, she learns to let go and went to reincarnate as well.

I don't believe LJW or GYJ are done, because it's normal for them to have more screen time (in this case actions) than the rest of the casts.

The difference is that Nasku is a soul from a apparently “burned” (dead) body returning (resurrecting some how back to her original body) to the living (part2).

BY has been resurrected since birth & living in her body. She has never been a main character anyways as a 1st person character. Everything we hear about her or her power is hearsay.

Some native stated that it could translate to a couple meaning, but the following is what’s originally reported when first news of the Hongsister comeback drama after their big success “hotelDel…” : the title was listed as “Return” "hwanhonsool" (the soul of the dead return to the living).

They changed the title likely it’s too obvious the direction of Naksu (again another reason that the GYJ’s return was planned ahead).

Honesty, don't' know how Naksu can fake being JBY at the Jin protection (if speculation are to be expected). JM, PJ, Yul, and that Doctor, all know how Naksu looks like. I feel like Naksu would still need to be living in hiding.

If we take the Intro into account, we are introduce with the full back views of UK & Naksue first. Nasku's sword got the most screen time for the intro. Towards the end of the intro, we see only JSM's eye, then UK's full face. So it's telling already the purpose of the drama because as the the Female lead for Pt1, JSM's full face isn't on the intro . It only focus on her eyes because this drama is about Naksu's soul intermingle w/ the rest of the cast. Also, if you pay attention, you'll realize that it has always been GYJ's voice doing all of MD's voice-over.

If you follow this drama since the beginning of production, you'll realize that this drama was always meant for all new actors. 2 new actresses were already sign on to lead, but one actress back out during the first month of filming. They stop production & JSM was brought in. Hence, she is the only more season actor of the bunch. Instead of seeing JSM's exit in a negative light, her fans should be appreciated that this drama brought her new exposure.

It's time to praise the Writer/producer for taking such a bold move and focus on the story instead of following the same typical path as other dramas.
