That is an example of when you are trying to satisfy the fans, the story doesn’t even make sense. Here, UK don’t even know about JBY and his move for Naksu is so strong.

If you don’t get attach to the actor, JSM, then you’ll understand. The one returning, GYJ, is the true original leading lady, Naksu.

Good! There nothing to worry then, because GYJ is a good actress. I’m sure given time JSM will do good action as she is a dancer but there’s a reason she hasn’t really done action type of roles.

JSM was good in the emotion and not on pair w/ GYJ in the action ( this is not to say she is not passable)… same thing applies to GYJ as all her projects are dramatic & deals w/ serious subject matters. She has done really well. As a matter of fact, I believe, GYJ is probably a better actress at her beginning than JSM. I’ve watched all JSM earlier projects and I’ve notice the gradual improvement.

No actress is good in all around & they all can improve given time.

She will be badass again; although, it will not be your typical one from the beginning but definitely she will bring a different aura from JSM.
Not just in the action, but GYJ has more of an indifference/ignorance look with a super lower tone of voice, where as JSM is more innocence & more gentler.
The romance and chemistry will never be the same, because we are dealing with 2 different actress. When the transition comes, It will still works in this case, because we ALL already know GYJ is the original Nasku. That first scene of Shadow assassin Nasku has made an huge impact even JSM will be hard to make us believe just as if GYJ is to protray MD.

If we really think about it, every karma that has happened thus far was a result of saving BY. BY’s mother gave the icestone to JangGang (likely because he could do spells) & beg him to save BY. The king found out & demand to be soul shift (hence, the king start UK was born to balance what trauma is to come). Those traumas: JG taught JM to soulshift to get his body back, JM turned Naksu’s Dad wild (got killed), Naksu got turned into the shadow assassin killing all innocences that was wrongly soul shifted into, she could not escape her revenge, & then met the original source of all her pain (BY).

So all those complaining about BY being wrongly mistreated if she is to risk her life, just remember that BY is what should not have been & for her price of life she must now set things right.

If that is the case, then that means they never really stop production and they continuous film w/ a few breaks in between for promotion. JSM will certainly be in Season 2 because GYJ isn’t free until mid-July as she was busy promoting her movie and finishing her other drama.

No, they just started shooting 2 in July.

The latest Ep18 had Nasku already thinking about shifting to ParkJin,the King, or JM next for revenge. It’s obvious Naksu don’t care which body she lands on next. Maybe the next story arch (ep19-20) will make her realize BY has to return to her mother and live her life; hence, she gotta get out.

The way it’s going? You do realize that for JSM to keep playing Nasku that means … 1)she and BY will occupy the same body (this to me is not good closure)… 2) BY dies and Nasku takes the body…3) Naksu dies and JangUk learns to love BY…

Or according to unconfirmed news, Nasku figures a new way to get her body back(BY is letting her use the ice stone & no one know it’s limitation yet). Heck for now, it’s more realistic Nasku find a new host.

That’s what happen when the writer do too much w/ supporting characters. They neglect their lead’s potential & distribute more screen to other characters to make the story work in the directions they want. That’s why now you get people who love the CP, JBY, YUL, Maid, ParkJin, Masterlee, ect. There’s also major focus on the fake daughter.

Why would they show BY in another body, when her body is still alive? That also is not fair to BY.

Why do you find it frustrating? One side is correct and the other will be embarrassed for sure. Based on what I hear, it’s GYJ’s voice since the beginning. GYJ’s name is credit at every Ep she voice over and her recent interview (on the segment specifically to her Nasku role), the fans praise her voice. She acknowledged it too. It makes sense, as
Nasku is still alive. This is not to discredit JSM in anyway.

If you are on the side of thinking it’s JSM , then you have a right to be frustrated but you will be further disappointed.

We’ll, if JBY dies then I’ll accept this route but that is too selfish for JBY and her whole family. I can’t accept 2 souls in BY’s body as an ending.

We’ll find out soon. That damn article did a lot damage and now the signs are there for GYJ to come back. Ep18 show that they couldn’t challenge JSM w/ action scenes. All she did was wave her hand and turn around. Her posture and movement still not up to pair W/ GYJ. Acting wise, GYJ has done serious roles and has not have bad press on her acting. How big of a role if GYJ come back? No one knows. Is it fair for NS to even stay in BY’s body? NO! What about BY. How will she come back to her burned body? That’s the mystery right? No one even know the icestone limits.
For now, just enjoy JSM. No one said she is officially out.

Complaining about filler when Cdrama are 30-60ep is telling of your invalid reasons. Cdrama are filled w/ cheesy leads & limited by their government on what they can explore. They have the same formula repeatedly used far more than Kdrama based on the amount of waste projects they produce. In recent years, Kdrama has been very diversified w/ more cable station & support from int’l support(Apple+, Netflix, ect..). Their subject matter explore a variety of subjects matters & expand toward fantasy elements, horror, zombie, & more comic adaptations, & even going against their government. Romance has for the most part taken a step back.

Good point, but many fans watch it for the actors and many drama fans watch it for the story line. Storywise, we all know Naksu is the female lead and is occupying MD’s body at the moment. If the writer make sense for Naksu to stay in MD’s body and/or return to her original body or another… we will accept. I believe there’s no set rule about the ICeStone’s imitation yet. What isn’t there doesn’t mean it doesn’t exist because it just meant it hasn’t been discovery yet.
We should watch this drama w/ an open mind. seeing JAng UK kissing MD, I want him to stay w/ MD as an end game. But Naksu had more story to tell just like JBY. I feel once she finds out about the real death of her dad, she might want to shift off and take revenge on JM (take the icestone?) I honestly believe her revenge trump her love for JangUK.
