I love GYJ as Nasku! She is badass and is one of the few k-actresses who can do action believable. I want to see more of her portrayal. So I’m not disappointed as Ep13 pretty much confirm the importance of Naksu. If the writer still want to make JSM and LJW end game somehow, I don’t even care. I feel Nasku has to have a comeback, because you can’t kill such a potentially epic character.
Let me tell you JSM is that good of an actress that you'all can't tell, but it's GYJ's voice.
In the US Netflix, at 2min mark of what's left of ep10, she starts of softer and closer in tone w/ JSM but at 1:33 mark she got very deep and it's GYJ's voice (JSM is not as low & doesn't have an older sound tone like GYJ, she is softer and higher pitcher).
It's doesn't take a fan to know this, it take a good listen.
I think its more than likely based on the latest ep 11/12, we can still hear GYJ's voice over. I mean if they…
Then they must not be JSM's fan's . LOL. For someone young, GYJ's voice is very low & mature. Honestly, just go and listen to the clip yourself, you don't need anybody to verify it for you when you have resources right in front of you.
Is GYJ going to come back? I just visited the Part 2 page.
I think its more than likely based on the latest ep 11/12, we can still hear GYJ's voice over. I mean if they weren't planning her return, they should vanish her voice by this point. It's a waste of $ when JSM could have done it.
I'm not familiar w/ LJW. Although looking back he was in "Memories of the Alhambra" and what a big contrast in character from this character. As this drama being is first big leading role, I'll say he is doing more than enough to portray JangUk. From his actions, to dramatic response in tragic scenes, and being funny moments, he is doing it all. At this point if we say, I can't imagine another actor for JangUk, then he has done his job. I can certainly say that is the case for me.
As for JSM, I love her since her first leading drama "Playful Kiss." I thought then that she had so much potential (in comparison to some actor of her generation). Her, still a leading lady as a sole actress (versus Idol Actress) says a lot about her ability to convey the roles that she has chosen. This role required quite a bit from her and she is doing a great job at keeping up w/ Nasku's behaviorism from what is establish from the Naksu portrayed by GYJ, who lets be honest left quite an impression already. She took on the character of MD and give us comedy, emotions, and vocal changes (this I applause). The actions, I could see being her weakness due to some brief scenes (her posture and moves are not on pair w/ the prior actress), but this I don't fault her because it so perfect for her MD's character and its not needed. Who knows maybe w/ additional scene, we might be proven wrong. So overall, we all should be glad that JSM took on this role and gave use a convincing MD.
I need more Jung So mIn and the FL being badass. Hopefully that is what the second half of the drama is all about!…
Me too. If they gonna do it where she doesn’t get her powers back until season 2, that is some dumb move. Naksu came out as one of the baddiest FL in ep1 and has since been lower down to typical hopeless FL who is there for romance(although smart but clueless & not venturing off to do some investigating about her boss, who clearly doesn’t have her interest). I need our FL to start being her own self again. Just imagine the power the OTP hold when they at their full potential.
i hope we get Naksu back to being a badass sometime soonwiping 15 swordsmen and taking an arrow to the side then…
Me too, I want Naksu in her original form to kill that guy. It would be more satisfying for what he did. Plus that actress is badass & she is very believable as an assassin.
Unpredictable?? Really? It's always been Naksu since the first time he saw her, he noticed she is Naksu and even…
I thought this ep was very clear that NS and Uk loves each other. Ep11, NS original voices says she love him. EP12, UK overheard about NS’s tough childhood and about the soulshifer being unstable and can died, he got worried for her & went to ask for a hug. Later even make sure she gets to go in the constellation building because he knows NS’s father worked there and she had memories there. Hence to me he loves the soul NS, but I guess people are still being delusional & trying to come up w/ narrative that will fit the directions they want.
Ukie definitely loves Mudokie (Naksu) but he finds her strange sometime cos she was too serious and didn't seem…
Yea, MD is just a name BY used when she got separated from her family. There’s just Nasku and BY (unless BY did died like what the mother seems to implied in ep11, then that means the ice stone created an additional soul for BY that explained why MD they call her the ice stone girl).
