It was hard to digest how everyone took advantage of her, how the boss was stomping on her, and how he actually didn't really understand her point of view after all, when she mustered up all her courage and told her truth. But just as some are stronger and quick to make decisions and changes in their lives, there are a lot of people that have to make a huge effort to get themselves out of their dark situations, right? I struggled watching it but I also understood how she felt. I'm not the most valiant person, and I'm the slowest at making decisions. It's not always easy to be honest to one's feelings, and stand up for oneself, right? Even though it was infuriating, it was also understandable. Also I liked that everyone had a chance in this drama. Like you said, everyone had their flaws and virtues, and this drama kind of took the hard road instead of the easy way of getting rid of the annoying ones. They made them deal with each other. It might not be the best answer for everyone, but the characters surely learnt a lot. Even though it is a dangerous idea for some that have trouble putting limits, it's interesting how this drama explored the idea of not throwing away people, but somehow making them be part of your life, help each other, and grow. (I'm talking about the ex-girlfriend) Like people and relationships in general are difficult and takes a lot of work and patience?

I would like to discuss this drama because I really liked it but of course, discussing it and reading others opinions makes it better.

I thoroughly enjoyed this drama and the portrayal of love surprised me in a very positive way. I appreciate when the love develops slowly and naturally, I loved that Shinkai was fine with being by herself, because she didn't feel alone, and of course the importance of not losing oneself and living a life for the other.

Couldn't agree more, I realized it in this drama (since I haven't seen her work that much, I only had Nigeru wa Haji da ga Yaku ni Tatsu as reference... If I'm not forgetting another drama/movie). She's an okay actress, she's pleasant to watch, she delivers some parts better than others (some, I have to say, poorly), but nothing exceptional. Still, having watched only this two dramas, I guess she has the eye for good dramas. Hope she gets better with time and the experience of this mature dramas! In my opinion, she has a potential that she has yet to expand.
