I just finished reading the 1st novel.and I loved it. I hope the ending of the series is as good as the novel.…
I’ve finished the first book and really like that aspect of the novel too. No matter what came between them, Thada and Armin talked things out like adults, building such sweet and healthy relationship. Totally agree that special episodes should be made from special chapters, could be a great idea!
i read through the novel as shared by someone in the comments and i can genuinely say the series really works…
Oh right, I’ve read the first book and agree that the novel has been dramatized. In the novel it was so sweet too, and I like that we could see Armin’s journey back to his popular stardom explored in more details, like each of his auditions, what his role was like and how he acted in each movie, etc., and the way Armin had to go through things while still being calm. Also he made friends with some fellow actors along the way. Since they’ve changed some characters and dramatized the novel, it seems that we can’t completely predict exactly what will really happen next. I hope we can still expect a happy ending in the series though, we still have to wait and see then. Anyway I actually like both the novel and so far the series, and think that they’re both fun in their own ways.
I can tell you the answer to dose questions if you want. I just finished reading the 1st book and started the…
I’ve read the first book and agree that it’s not as dramatic as the series. This show is made by the production house which has produced a lot of Thai Lakhon dramas for years, that may be a reason why their adaptation turns out to be more dramatized version from the novel.
In the novel Weinai was called Winai who was Thada’s first secretary. Thada had another female second secretary named Lilith. Thada’s stepmother was mentioned, anyway I didn’t see Thiwthit the stepbrother exist in this first book, but saw other characters as Armin’s fellow actors, including Phat who in the novel was one of them too, but I didn’t see Aunt Jeed’s character either. When Armin and Charlie first met in new timeline, Charlie was just an ordinary crew in the set, not as confident as a photographer he was in the series.
I like Thada and Armin’s healthy relationship, and like the way how Armin first told Thada about his time travel indirectly. With many chapters in the novel, Armin’s journey back to his popular stardom like in his past life can be explored in more details, like each of his auditions, what his role was like and how he acted in each movie, etc. And of course, along the way Armin had to go through things, but he wasn’t as dramatized as in the series, he was quite calm while getting through them, probably because he’d already had like two decades of experience in show business before coming back in time to this ‘Reset’ point, and also partly with Thada’s help. So some people thought that Armin got together with Thada for his own benefit, and of course later they would finally see that his success came from his own talent.
Similar to the series, Thada valued his privacy, and was quiet, calm, stoic guy with kind of a dead face, but could only become smitten and sweet with Armin. Actually sometimes Thada in the novel still got a dead face with Armin, but his sweet words he spoke to Armin could still hit Armin profoundly even though spoken with his dead face.
I also like that along the way in the novel, Armin did make friends with some fellow actors, including Parit who he worked with in one of his early movies. In the series Armin said earlier that he and Parit were rivals and never worked together, but in the latest episode we know that later they got to work together in a movie. It may be interesting to see their dynamics whether they will still be rivals or can get along with each other.
Now we’re like halfway with the series. The overall premise and structure of the plot may be similar as a whole, Armin came back in time to meet Thada and had to navigate his way back to stardom. Anyway we can see some differences in the series since they’ve changed some characters and dramatized the novel, so I feel that we still can’t completely predict exactly what will really happen next with the storyline in details for later episodes, and in the trailer we saw something like Armin got shot again.
I hope we can still expect a happy ending, we still have to wait and see then. I actually like both the novel and so far the series, and think that they’re both fun in their own ways.
We can find this novel here too. On this ‘Details’ page of this series, go to ‘Recent Discussions’ section, click the title ‘Novel link or spoilers’ and look it up. I think someone has posted a link to read this novel on wattpad.

i lowkey dont like thada rn (just finished ep4) i feel like his only personality is being rich and powerful? also…
Feel somewhat kind of sorry for Narin too. Anyway Thada was clear about this relationship with that ‘transactional exchange’ from the beginning, and Narin accepted that, knowing this condition and willing to be Thada’s ‘kept artist’ at the first place. It was a consensual relationship just with Thada’s condition.
Unfortunately Narin had no other better choice available, so if he wanted this transactional exchange he just had to accept that. So once Narin fell for Thada, it simply had to end. Well, somehow It didn’t seem so fair for Narin and not that it was his fault, but as Thada was the one with wealth and power, he got to set the condition in this agreement in his favor.
Without that kind of behavior to be frowned upon, Thada could be a flawless perfect man. Maybe the author of the novel didn’t want him to be so perfect, so she added him some shades of gray. And somehow that made a somewhat more rounded character, not perfect, with some flaws just like many human beings.
I LOVE THIS SERIES SO MUCH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I wasnt expecting much from the pairing or the series and they have…
Before this show, who would’ve thought that Pan and Pond could give such great chemistry? Whoever paired them up surely deserves such a raise. And Thada sulking?! Really like the “Oh you gotta work harder and put more effort to make it up to me” vibe. Why did I find the sulking Thada this cute?!
In my opinion, they don’t need to include that in this 10-episode series. What they should do may be to make a few special episodes out of the novel’s bonus chapters, those with Thada’s PoV. which we haven’t seen. This way we can enjoy more episodes in addition to this series’ original 10 episodes.
Wish for that as well. Such special episodes could be a great idea. Would like to see Thada’s reaction too, despite knowing how devastated Thada would become could break us.
"In every life, in your story.. I never exist in it, right?I really should just watch you quietly from afar"💔💔💔💔💔💔💔Why…
That part of the translated subtitle was a little bit off here. What Thada said in Thai was not exactly “in every life”, but actually something like “in every time period of (your) life”.
Tada saying; 'Take whatever time you need! Waiting is something I'm good at! ' & 'What a shame! In every life,…

This is a lakorn, with the acting turned up to a melodramatic register. Once I realized that, it made the tone…
I think they will address that. From the interview with the actors in the ‘Reset’ series press event, Pan said that Thada and Armin actually met for the first time even way before the ‘Reset’ started to happen, but later then Armin didn’t recognize him, and Pond kind of confirmed that too.
So I guess as the storyline goes on, we can expect to learn how or what kind of their interaction was when they first met, and how that will impact with what consequences to be seen in later episodes. They will have to let us know that.
The Thai word for novel is "niyai". As for "lakorn/lakhon", it's the general Thai word for series/dramas, and often times (in this case too) the word also refers to Thai-style melodrama/soap opera style, which sometimes can be over the top, and exaggerated/overacting can be expected at times,
My love letter to Armin & TadaI love that Tada is so smitten that he just listens to the crazy time travel rants…
Love that too. It seems that for Thada, any opportunity to be around Armin was just so precious that it became the priority and everything else just didn’t matter. He got so whipped that he was ready and willing to listen to whatever Armin had to say. And no matter what and how much Armin was rambling or ranting about, somehow any words coming out from Armin seemed to sound just simply fascinating to him.
Does anyone know where I can find an English translation of the novel? I'm really hoping to read it after the…

I have come to the conclusion that Thada is whipped af because anybody talking about the future, like Armin does,…
Right, agree. It seems that for Thada, any opportunity to be around Armin was just so precious that it became the priority and everything else just didn’t matter. Although what Armin said about the future bewildered Thada sometimes, he got so whipped that he was ready and willing to listen to whatever Armin had to say.
