1st 2 episodes have already aired on Amazon Prime. I though it was Netflix but nope this time Amazon has made he move. I was so surprised to see Fukumoto Riko being part of this show.
Well it all depends on onrd taste in dramas, I put a lot of pomps to this drama....and I get over ventilating…
I'm with you on that. Everyone's needs and expectations are different after all. I also believe writer mostly did a copy paste job. Only place where writer makes his own mark is in comedy.
This week things have started to a move a bit but with kid villain as opposing force and hero pulling soap opera as plans the show is at best average and those super long episodes. Even villain is 1 trick pony. So much pomp for no substance.

not everyone goes in reading/watching press conference. surely hero is very much in line with many western tv drama heros and writer hasn't let audience feel he helplessness but episodes run time is a big reason why no momentum sustained in all 4 episodes.
2nd week is better than 1st week but that doesn't say much about the show. 2nd week moved in predictable path and things happened which were almost most of the audience had expected to happen. Side-side characters are still too uninteresting, heroine has toned down but that doesn't adds to her value, villain side is weak too - who in the world has so much of idle time to play assistant of a heroine? Episode 04 last scene was typical of kdrama scene where everything is so easy to carry out. I don't consider all of it suit of good writing. Its pretty much is copy-paste and lousy job. Episodes are just way too long too. I say even hero has to come down so as so to measure upto the level of other characters. Writer has to decide what hero has to be - a hero, cool hero, anti-hero or something more. Entertaining it is - only in parts - The show losses momentum and energy at key points. Its peaks and then go for the steep fall.
Another atrocious episode with no sense and more atrocious mindless action. Bad cgi, bad direction giving good assistance to bad low quality writing. As usual the only good scene was Seo hae's fight scene with extra and that the only scene done well. So far 3 episodes have been good headache. Writer has no clue how to tell a story. Things could become better only if they had done proper audit and what to do when. No need to wreck brain over this one as this one is a light meme show. watch it and move forward. Almost all kdramas on mydramalist get 8+ rating - popularity contests and most of them barely deserve even a 6. So 7+ still too good a rating for this kind of low quality content.
Episode 2 was a disappointment. Some can see comedy in it but many others can't. SFX and overjealous body actions not make for a good comedy. Even Vincenzo is looking more and more like your typical kdrama hero with same muh family issues. Heroine+her lacky are outright annoying for now. The new guy and ex-proseuctor can make things work in next few weeks or this will turn out be another typical hero-team-assemble to fight conry villains drama.
1 hour 23 minutes is just too much. starting 20 minutes of super cool hero and then super cool hero become merely a hero in korea and then makes a return as cool hero. Things will be hard and rough for vincenzo because this is korea and not his homeground italy. +ve - Advocate father character+actor -ve overacting actor as well as overreaction female character -ve comedy - it was low quality +ve story's main subject -ve least interesting side characters. +ve father-daughter dynamic -ve - mostly we gonna see caricature villains. 1st episode was entertaining but didn't had any consistency and momentum. Moments did build up and then all the of it was let off which i think mostly is writing problem as director did his job well. Heroine needs to tone down, comedy if any needs to be up its scale, and director needs to not make it like hero is modeling everywhere - hero's entrance, those camera effects won't make hero appear superhero but will reduce his presence in the long run. A real cool hero not need assistance of technology to make his mark, his presence felt and mesmerise the audience.
Heroine has 1 work in this drama - cry - shed more tears. use the glycerin as much as possible. like she's the supplier of it. This kind of dramas have simple minded characters who mostly act dumb. But for we have a character - hero - who uses his brain. That makes me appear a smart guy but its just that audience has seen so many dumb main characters than even normal guy looks cool when using common sense. I from start liked the Father of hero and somehow it feels like he's the one leading the front. Hero as usual is involved with almost all characters and storylines, even heroine doesn't have this leverage. Naro surely wins sympathy points from audience and surely his future is most uncertain in this show. Writing wasn't good to begin with but now its all forced - Heroine father suddenly became all good. Hero's father's young days loveline was turned into care for another girl. This isn't a place to live - it has become a hookup joint and a mini restaurant it always was.
Below average 1st week. Nothing new, nothing special - there is no need to. Its from novel so writer already had the source at hand as well audience reviews to brush up things and make it appealing enough for a tv drama but i didn't get that any of that from 1st week. It was pretty week 1st week and you expect for any overhyped drama. story is pretty standard one, seen myriad of times before in numerous forms aka soap opera in one more king's times with heavy steroids of romance. steroids the derail the subject itself. For that matter episode 2 was strikingly week than ep 1 and the choice of SFX told the audience that exactly was that with making fool of a credible heroine. The required aesthetic and nuance is missing all around and i don't think this show by any means does any justice to the source - atleast none so far.
This drama is a disgrace in the name of Sci-Fi. Better remove the genre and keep it in fantasy. Adding few lazors and mumble-jumble of time travel not making anything worthless a sci-fi. Writer is always a combi with Director but even director is mostly an incompetent hack. And who is the action sequence or stunt director playing wuxia in this show? Room fight scene wasn't bad but before and after that was horrible and completely ruins whatever atmosphere is build by few moments. heroine escape and middle finger - what kind of juvenile writing it is? Story+characters - atrocious and no help from director+team display the meagre of content there is. Its like everyone was in this game to show the least interest they have in this show. Actors(so called) can't do much when main source is so week. This one is like badly made parody. I did expect lousy content but this one is highly likely a resource waste production.
