Above avg. Chinese collage drama. Season 1 was the only Chinese teens steeping into youth drama that i liked so i had some expectations from this season 2. So far 9 episodes watched show can't stand upto the level of season 1. Chinese teens or youth dramas have predictable university or collage life+activities and events but debate being the theme of the show made it stand tall amongst the numerous copies. And in season 2 the copy paste job is more apparent and the main theme "debate" has become more of a prop. The show is trying hard to be extra funny which looks forced. Acting is ok. Direction could have been better. SFX actually add -ve to the atmosphere and more importance given to romance and side-side characters getting more screentime adds to-ve points. Bad bad makeup too - what's with all those whitewashed faces.
Still enjoyable watch till episode 9. Also, i expect story moves a bit faster and theme remains at top than all the side factors.
3.5/10 . Episode 16 totally revealed with the whole garbage was. writer is one big hack. did the scam and ran thing. For that writer deserve applause. fooling others isn't that easy. Writer earned her bread, provide good service to all the advertisers. It was cleaver display of shinny plastic faces selling products without having any substance. The buzzwords used for tv drama show the delusions amplified by creating and echo chamber. It satisfy the easy and cheap gratifications as well as wishful fantasies but other than that its not even stand the test of mediocrity. Overall, another korean romance garbage but it fufilled its objectives of business.
This week was oh ho ho. Episode 14 last 5 minutes - oh ho ho . Its really ohh moment of writer is deceiving the audience is left for next week. Be ready for last week action of pen. Pen is mightier than the sword.

I knew one or other delusional mind will pick that line. That's the level of delusional minds. u didn't thought. u just did copy/paste which is always cheap trick of fickle minds.
Trailers were bland but 1st week was interesting. rather the rants of writer were creative enough to attract your attention. But under that facade there was minimal content and adage of your usual korean romance cliches and tropes. Funny was seeing cool buzzwords being used for a drama that is pretty much same as dramas of previous years. This writer proves appearances are deceptive. Writer tired to be oversmart and acted like an elite, thinking herself of better than fellow writers. That condescending attitude is selfinsert personality trait of characters that makes them apples for apples. Such fake characters and equally fake conversations not evoke +ve response. Words thrown at each other might look cool for an instant but quite fast and easily it turns into rants of idle. In the world of memes,1 liners rule and that's why this show is a bait and very cheap one. Character attributes are forcefully feed to make them look apart, another bait, as writer knows the limits of cheap tricks. Writer is more interested in sell this n that product that concentrating on the material at hand. The show is 1 hour long PPL and a pretty attempt from the writer to be a writer. Writer comes way too much off as an audience who got this opportunity and showing others how to write a romance kdrama. Overall, the show is one more overhyped low quality product that doesn't deserve any merit.
This Korean tv drama is good. I don't usually use the word good for a korean drama but this drama deserves that. And as expected the type of material it is, t won't attract majority's attention and that we can also see from number of comments/ discussion this drama gets everywhere. This tv drama has theme and purpose both. Most korean dramas go for tv media as their is all the glamour/spicy/nonsensical stuff. But, this drama is on print media. Ofcourse it has cliches which we have already seen, but, the writer doesn't deviate from topic and shows you reality of industry in today's world. Ad the cliches used actually had value in social commentary. The drama start is quite slow and i think a lot of time is actually wastes in 1st 2 weeks but it won't dissuade those who are in for good quality content. Weeks 5th is quite good and week 6th has given us the title of the show. We know what kind of media majority like to see and i'm thankful that writer can held his head high for the content he has produced.
Why the show is good because its source is good - a novel. It gave writer opportunity to explore his and others views and then write a good script.
Riko Fukumoto is cute cute and hasa very nice voice - Riko as voice actor for many anime. Riko Fukumoto has done the best here. Takumi and Hamabe has most screentime.
Its your typical shoujo movie and main source is manga so most of crucial points are rushed and many things left out. As it happens with most live actions - Its merely a visual representation of a manga and that too done in fast mode.
Main theme is good. Always liked it. Direction is also good. Writing is average. Acting is ok. Music is above average.
