Writer being a hack and a leech is what this show is all about. any means to earn some cash. You can pity the characters that they had to be in the hands of this writer. Earlier weeks i had said that side couples are more consistent and better drawn as well as this drama shouldn't be more than 12 episodes. Alas, writer has to pay so many bills. And this week again proves it. Writer really has no idea of individual and individual independence. Even characters are confused what personality traits they have and what not.

These buzzwords you often hear about a Korean romance "realistic" "natural" "love yourself"
"characters with flaw" ahem the "character development" "mature" and few more. The more these buzzwords are used the more you become clear that you have watching something pretty but superficial.
This is the show for that. Love wins all, love solves everything. Magic of love changing hero.
Magic of love causing coincidences and mishaps. Heh, Heroine's romance has now become devoted love in the eyes of many and hero's mental and emotional issues have not much impact. Now writer s turning tables and interchanging nature+personality of hero-heroine for just fill the time and stretch the show. Change is inevitable, but that doesn't mean change is easy and more so the outcome of change being productive or not.
The show now is checking every mark of typical korean romance with each and every event, and action and with with no originality or creativity.
Right from 1st episode i called it below average. low quality media and writer hasn't done anything to prove me and many others viewers wrong. Somehow it feels like writer is just parroting aka doing copy-paste job aka hack job.

The show is a meh but there are certain moments where show becomes what it should become. It becomes a story of a guy and girl who loved each other once and might still have feelings that writer is trying to take advantage of aka in soft terms writer is trying to explore those feelings. All other stuff so far isn't logical or sensible at all.
That female agent surely is competent though
And that highly educated young agent is for humour here.
Chief also is here to taunt the hero and create the humour.
2 weeks so far and the show has nothing remarkable enough to point out but i still think this show looks far more of a typical korean rom-com than any other aired korean romance shows in 2020. It has those cringe and cliche spices of a korean romance.

Good review! but is this really a typical cliche rom com if yes then it's just what I like but Im afraid I don't…
I think its already complicated where wife has more screentime with ex-husband than current husband and they way she has so much for ex-husband. Still overall tone is +ve. I don't think there is much space for misunderstandings. There is 1 fake-affair misunderstanding that wasn't even needed in the story. That was another cheap attempt of writer.

Cut the romance nonsense, cutoff the fillers, make folklore characters more appealing, turn the drama into 20minute per episode. Then we can say there is something to clap for. writer had all the material at had and still did such terrible job. This is such a choke job.

Pretty refreshing female main character for us viewers. 1st episode was good.
convo aka chit-chat was smooth among characters and looked quite real.
The only thing to nitpick could be they were all trying hard to smile a bit too much.

Crazy movie. That song. the acting. the story. a
And then we get basic lesson of life. Movie is entertaining 1 time watch. That's it.
Movie's comedy is your usual Japanese style so it on your taste to like the comedy or not.

I say it goes down from 90 % hating ML to 70-75% with some of it is now directed to FML as you mention and a bit…
Yeah. Majority is aiming at both main leads. Its mostly foreign audience that is going hardmode on hero and now even on heroine.
I use the word strong dislike because hatred for a fictional character just looks too childish a response. I often find kdrama secondary characters having more real issues of life. And i think story wise can't-marry-couple is better written. Main story is our usual korean trope.

Best part this week - A stray Cat got screentime. Yeah, That cat just happened to be there.

1st week - Everyone is making comments on Hero. 2nd week - same.
3rd week - things have changed a bit.
4th week - Now comments are there clearly seeing the follies of Heroine and how wrongly hero is accused. Many other places Hero is still getting unfair criticism but, here, atleast things have changed. This is good to see.

People don't talk about other characters - 2nd couple has its own struggles and i find their relationship a bit fake when female can't even share things with her fiancee or trust him enough to be with her, but there the guy is also shown as an angel.
3rd prosecutor has lost confidence of an individual.

This is why the words used by me for 1st week were on point. Except here and there some gleaming hopes, the whole show falters in every other aspect. Each and everything is just too superficial and too smooth. Upbeat mood is totally fake reaching the heights of delusion. Characters are intentionally give n idea so audience can project itself in them, consciously or unconscionably. type of soft power that actually is a thing propaganda to brainwash audience or in other words a way to bring out the desires of mentally tired and exhausted viewers. As you can see this cheap psychological trick does works and works quite well. For that you have to give credit to whole production team. I see very less potential and merit in the content. Entertainment alone can't be the criteria. I don't see writer getting down from this superhero ride and i don't see any prospect of any kind of growth either in story or its caricature of characters.

This is a good movie. Later it changes some direction
From Hospital to facing a judge. Overall, a watch for everyone.

You can see Nana Komatsu's progress as an actor. She is on of the few among all new age girls who has shown some progress as an actor.

1st week aka introduction or setup week. This is meme spy show aka comedy colour given to action. 1st episode clearly spoke what the whole show is about. Its a true Korean cliche rom-com. The 1st of 2020 - Unlike that food or music nonsense drama. As far as i can see it is falling into the trope of mindless fun, where logic has no merit and where you shouldn't take things seriously. Romance of main couple and their shenanigans together is writer's only concern. And i think that's not to bad a strategy either.
This show even reminded me of Hollywood movie of Tom Cruise + Cameroon Diaz
Its predictable but not annoying for now. All the characters looked alright except the ultra feeble tone of heroine.
Overall, 2nd and 3rd week will tell where this drama stands.

Did you have youth days? In the age of 20-25, when you full of dreams? It's all about this! It's not soap-opera,…
Am i the subject matter? Am i the show? Why get so defensive over a fictional drama? If few virtual identities think getting personal over a badly written fiction is a good idea then good luck to them for their delusions.

This drama almost a barbie doll drama. Slow-motion forced meetups and entries, Lighting and everyone stunned. That for a drama named Start-Up. 1st 2 episodes have merely soap-opera going on and writer will keep it on for all future episodes. There gonna be nonsensical problems so as to show how hero team is pushed into corner then equally nonsensical solutions that will solve their problems immediately. All in the name of development. This show is nothing more than a wishful fantasy of idle minds. Day Dreaming. A shinny delusion to console yourself for the imaginary hardwork your ever did. One more copy-paste job without substance and same old hullabaloo of a typical korean romance.

That you can question those who think writer gives inkling of incest. I have nowhere said there is an incest, even if it has one then what is problem with that?
