Did you see Legend of the blue sea? Personal taste? The Heirs?
Well I'm super late to replying but w/e. Yes I have tried to watch 2 of those shows and I really really wanted legend of the blue sea to be good as I love mermaids, but for me it just wasn't very good. The heirs was just hot garbage imo, I'm sorry but that show was a mess. I hope this changes my mind about him though cause I'm in desperate need for a good kdrama at the moment.
I'm really happy to have Kim go eun as a lead, but why, oh why must Lee min ho be in it ;-; idk about anyone else but other than boys over flowers I haven't liked him in anything else.
Eh, I kinda just wish shows would end when the story is over, especially if it ain't gonna have the same cast in the next season (looking at you age of youth ????). Most of the time new seasons of shows that I really liked end up disappointing me so most of the time I'd honestly just prefer that they leave it as is. Then again theres exceptions to this for me, such as cheese in the trap (with the original actors!). P.S. I'm sorry but I couldn't hold it in, but I actually despise age of youth season 2 with a passion, they took away my favorite characters and added in all these new people I couldn't care less about. Fuck you to whoever made that decision.
well she had two children with another guy called Lao Ai, not buwei.Although polyamory would be nice, having affairs…
I did read about lao ai but I just assumed he was only her guard. I agree that affairs arent good but sometimes the people involved have kinda complex Dynamics between them and it makes it not entirely good or bad. Personally I like to see people being portrayed kinda realistically, and for me that means showing that they aren't all good or bad and that sometimes they fuck up and might not even regret it.
I'm not sure if they'll put it in the show, but in actual history it's said that even though she married yi ren she still had affairs with buwei and may have even had two of his children. I hope they put this in the show as I'm pretty sick of the basic love triangle where the girl gets with one of them and that's the end. Plus I personally really like when shows/movies show that yes it is possible to love more than one person romantically at the same time. I don't really expect this show to actually go into it a lot but I just wish there were more shows/movies about polyamorous relationships tbh (and not just a king/emperor having a bunch of wives, tho I like those shows too)
A lot of people hate the pacing of this drama but I actually love it. It's just really relaxing to watch after having a hectic day and the story is interesting. Then again I'm used to having unpopular opinion about this stuff :/
One instance a creature doesn’t want to be or even pretend to be human was Gwi from The Scholar Who Walks The…
That's another annoyance with these kinds of shows, if there is a character who doesn't mind being what/who they are they're almost always portrayed as evil/the bad guy/antagonist. Then again people usually don't like to see humans be portrayed as a source of food for something even if that's all the creature can live on (depending on the mythology of each show/story/etc.) Personally I don't automatically think someone/something is bad for just trying to survive. Tho of course gwi is the antagonist for other reasons (he's greedy, murderous, power hungry, etc.) I just with the protagonists of these stories/shows wouldn't always be someone who's ashamed of who they are for dumbass reasons
Could someone give me a rundown on the whole plot? Like who ends up together, is sang sang the kid of Hades, what is NQ, etc. I like to go into a show after I know the big things that happen so I can decide if I want to watch it. I've already seen 14 episodes and I've really been liking it, however this one chick just showed up as a potential love interest for NQ and I don't like that kinda shit so I'm considering dropping it as I'm sick of shows frustrating me with people idgaf about, even if it has a happy ending.
Personally I never really liked that it's always the 'mythical creature' or whatever that wants to become human. In my opinion they're much more interesting and better than humans usually. Plus why can't they just be proud of who they are for once and stop trying to change just because they love someone? Like just appreciate who you are and how you're different instead of trying to be like other people/beings.
P.S. I'm sorry but I couldn't hold it in, but I actually despise age of youth season 2 with a passion, they took away my favorite characters and added in all these new people I couldn't care less about. Fuck you to whoever made that decision.
