To me their chemistry is like older sis/yonger brother. Let’s put the lead’s casting aside. The childhood friend is also miscasted. He looks like he’s 20 years older than the ML. The story is cute but I really have get past the visuals.

He’s doing great but visually I can see that she’s much older than him so it takes me out of the story a little. It works if this is a noona love story but they mentioned her age as being in her 20s.

I am enjoying this drama so far but I often wonder what the casting directors were thinking.

I thought the same and actually dropped it at episode 16 as well! The female lead’s obsession with sleeping and stuffing her face is ridiculous. We are at war, man! (I definitely said this in Eddie Murphy’s voice) and she’s just clueless.

I also don’t think the FL’s acting is my cup of tea. Everything from her facial expressions to her delivery is just cringe.

I agree with you about the ML. He just oozes sexiness and is SO attractive.

The character he’s playing is a little much and so toxic but I can not stop watching.

I’m on episode 13 and she’s still the same - wide eyed with her deer in the headlights expression. I think the issue is also with Arthur Chen. He is so incredibly beautiful with his stoic expression so the contrast is a little jarring.
