She’s super naive and in her own little world but I think she needed to be with Duanwu at the moment. Duanwu lost so much and was in a dark hole, now she has someone else relying on her. We know that Duanwu would pull herself out eventually but having her there pushed it faster.

I think he made a little more sense than Lin Bu Yi because before episode 17, he thought he wouldn’t be cured of the poison in him. So he went hard on revenging his family. Then the doctor said he can develop an antidote but then got killed. Falling in love in the middle of all this was something YZJ never expected.
