Because ZY let his uncle, Prince Su and his adopted daughter do whatever heck they pleased (he’s weak), it caused the dealth of many of Lu Wen aka LMT’s brothers. LMT blamed ZY for that.

I totally agree with you. I love this drama from start to finish (especially the pacing) and the ONLY thing I wish they did better was the wedding night! I wanted him to be sober. I wanted them to kiss passionately and I wanted the sitting on the bed scene. We deserve it!

It’s probably because “no” is something she would never dare to say to her own mother in law. Filial piety is upmost important and she herself had no say in how many concubines the late lord took. Also, given LMT’s background, she thought she would be easily controlled.
