Haha!! I think at the beginning most ppl were not XL/XY shippers because, PAIN! Now it’s like okay suck my blood any time!!!

I was a Jing shipper once! As the show went on, I slowly (and carefully) got on the XL bandwagon. I fully hopped on when XY was presented as the princess during the ceremony. Jing’s insecurity when he saw that she was beautiful was a major turn off!

I get it, she wants a peaceful life with someone soft and no bloodshed. The thing is, with him being like that actually caused them more problems. I just can’t imagine any women being attracted to someone like that.

Brother tortured him for years? Forgiven.

Here’s the deal with Jing and XY for me. The only thing they do is either pine for each other from afar or when they’re together, talk about how they won’t leave each other. They don’t exactly DO anything! Oh and he does whatever she tells him to do - man card, revoked!

With XL, they have fun, he teachers her archery, they heal each other, talk about deep stuff, explore the sea, fly on Chubby, he teases her, etc. THIS is romance!!

I’ll be wearing v neck shirts even during winter.

Exactly! I want it to make sense so therefore I need more development from him. I see a lot of sweet moments with Jing and XY but to me, there wasn’t a significant amount of emotional weight. Plenty of “I’ll always be by your side” but he doesn’t do anything to make that happen.

I just learned about bombastic side eyeing from my daughter and yea that’s what I’m doing now to Jing.

Does Jing actually do anything in S2 that will make me root for him?? I don’t want my heart to break for XL so I’ve been trying to hop on the Jing ship. Its been REALLY hard because he’s been crying for the last 4 episodes.

So far, XL is like the ML with all those sexy, romantic dates. All the heart to heart talks and all the things he does for her without her knowing.
