I saw some spoiler and it looks like Bitao takes a hit for her and dies. I don't how accurate that is. Achou got the maid crying for her upbringing stories to make her think they both were dealt a blow for not beingborn noble . She definitely will get her wrapped around her little finger. The secret will definitely come to light thats why she wants public and private footing. So when everything comes to light she must have backing.

Achou is just as ruthless as Jundai. The difference is Jundai is batshit crazy and Achou is calculating and manipulating. The maid thinks she's gaining her trust but Achou clocked her. Lanxiang is anything but perfect. My girl would rather suffer in silence than to share whats in her heart. I understand the complex emotions but I don't agree with them, in regards to Lanxiang situation I think his feelings shouldn't be taken into consideration. He reaps what he sow. I'll always be an advocate for Lanxiang choosing and wanting a peaceful life(she's been traumatized), but I'm afraid the moment he caught Jinqi's heart it was over for our peaceful girl. Any girl or his enemies will always be after her because he likes her.

I don't care what anyone say about the fml. She witnessed her whole family die in front of her eyes. Her mother sacrificed for her to "live" and that's what she's trying to do against all odds. Ya'll are right. I'm just biased and liked the SML better. I knew from the day she didnt kill the ML while he was weak and the day Achu cried thinking ML betrayed her that she was a goner. ML is not a bad person I just don't like characters that say they'll protect you for your own good but are bad at communication type. He was bound by fielal pity and love and I'm glad he got out that muddled place and made a choices for himself.
