I just finished this and I confidently say I don't like Lin waner for Fan Xian. I say this because everyone in LW's fam tries to kill FX unprovoked. Ofcz people who care about Fan xian will retaliate. must he wait to be killed? It's obvious they won't rest until he is dead. Her family refuses to stop so its either she chooses Fan xian or stays with her fam. I love that FX harms those who harm him irregardless.
I like that they had two episodes to prepare us for the heartbreak 💔 😢. As sad as it was. I liked the ending. I also feel Banxia will see Xuanye again.
I'll never blame Hanyan for saving her mother. Some people have and were raised by toxic mothers and it took a while to cut them off completely or they couldn't cut them off at all, they still want a piece of love from them, some were adopted and loved but however grateful they still look for their bio parents.
A lot of abandoned kids will still look for parental love, at any cost. They may have questions for them of why they left them. They want to know if their bio parents loved/loves them. Even those left by their fathers,, they seek them out. So I truly get why Han yan wants to save her mom and dad.
She never had familial love,so she craves it and yearns for it and she'll do whatever it takes to get it. Worse she heard her mom be protective of her for once while she was hiding. So she wants more time with her. Her mom isn't helping because she doesn't tell her anything but pushes her away everytime she gets close, so she pushes back harder. She does suspect/feel her mom hates her dad but she doesn't know why? Plus her dad treats her better than her. Remember she didn't have a dad that spoils her, defends her and takes care of her before so she's touched by lil things her dad does.
So don't blame her, she'll figure it all out as she grows. Her mothers heart is filled with hate and vengeance and thats her feelings and right too but she isn't letting her in so what must a girl do? Giving up is never an option for her with how she was raised. She had to fight for everything and thats what she is doing now.
I was watching this again because this is the reason I love you 😍 Tuty. You did a spectacular job. You and your partner did great. You deserve many many awards for this😗😗
There's no one who deserves SY than WYF. I even want him for myself truly but I'm not her and don't wish to be. She suffered a lot and now she found her true family😭😢. If I were to compare it with Hidden Love. HL would still be my favorite one. I love this but other than the this couple I had to ffw a lot. HL had an amazing beautiful relationship/siblingship/college friendship. But this not HL. So I'll rate it 9.8/10. SY's love and patience needs to be studied. I'm so happy for WYF
I can't get into this because of the girl's voice. I don't find it cute at all. Please don't come for me because you like her. Different things for different folks. Anyway it looks like its a nice series

Yes, I found myself hating him, finding him hot, and feeling sorry for him but overall didn't like him, his character even in the novel. I loved his acting though, he encapsulated XL character perfectly.
I love all these main leads. As much as I sympathize with what they all went through and what they sacrificed, truth is they made a choice. Choices comes with sacrifices.
CX made the choice that he wanted to protect his loved ones, so he went after power
TJ devoted himself to XY happiness
XL pledged his loyalty for his foster father knowing the outcome.
XY wanted no power/no wealth but someone who is willing to put her first.
So all these people who are not happy with the ending shock me. XL and CX got what they wanted, what they chose. Nobody chose it for them.
Ultimately XY and TJ were endgame from the start because their choices align.
Sad as it is for XL and CX ,these people knew the sacrifices or consequences of the choices they made and they stuck by them. So it is what it is.

I wish people would stop calling other actors bad because they have their own favorites that weren't casted. All actors are hardworking actors. Even I don't like some of the actors or actresses they suggest but you won't see me on their respectful tv show pages crying because my fave wasn't casted there. Everyone has their own taste and its okay but you can't make everyone like what you like. Its simple. If you don't like a certain cast member just don't watch this show when it aires or better yet fast foward on their scenes, but don't demean their talents because they don't suit your taste. Anyway there's no use crying over spilled milk.
