I enjoyed Soul Land and Battle Through Heaven/Fight Break Sphere donghua, which are much much more better than drama adaptation.

Is it better to watch this drama before the donghua so not to have too much expectations?

Agree. I can only name Blood of Youth for both donghua and drama having almost equal quality.

His acting is ok but he whispers and mumbles a lot. Without subtitles, can't really hear his lines. 😅
