I have been commenting about this and put my theory in spoiler thread in the discussion post above. That Husui isn't the Husui Qing Heng knows. She is looking for the soul gathering lamp means she wants to resurrect someone: the real Husui. Once she is back, Husui will stay loyal to Yetan until the end (along with Jia Luoluo), even when Yetan becomes the void ruler. If you see all the trailer and clips, Husui is there in every crucial moments.

I understand Chao Feng's situations. He has no other choice to survive and to protect his mother, but there should be other way that he hasn't seen. Be the crown prince or death, yet his mother and Qingkui only want him to live in peace and normal. His burden is too big and he has been carrying it alone. It will need time for him to realize what is more important and what needs to be done to protect those he loves.

However, he shouldn't hurt Qingkui's feelings. All of these happened bcs of his lies! He has no rights to blame her. Now he pushes her away bcs he can't protect her. Boy, she will never be safe bcs of her status. Wudai might protect her, but Dingyun and the empress? Yetan and the crew are also busy with their mission. Oh knowing Qingkui's personality she won't leave his side for long. Hopefully they will handle this situation soon and he will get his power back.

Seems like the current Husui tries to resurrect the real Husui, the one Qing Heng is looking for. The real Husui is loyal to Yetan and will stay by her side until the end, just like Jia Luoluo.

They can use the soul gathering lamp. Husui is resurrected with this lamp, I presume bcs she is everywhere in the trailers. Or if Qingkui dies as an immortal, her soul should be preserved like Fei Chi said. But if they go the novel route, then Youqin will sacrifice himself to resurrect Qingkui.

The novel author published the epilogue on feb 18 and it has HE for both couples. In the novel Youqin sacrifices himself to resurrect Qingkui, so the second couple has HE, but now both couples are happy.
