I finally finished this after a long time. I can't believe the amnesia plot happens TWICE!! ☠ No wonder it has 40 eps! It could've been cut into 32 eps. Everytime the amnesia plot happens, the romance goes backward. Dang.
This is my first drama of Xiang Hanzhi and she did great as both Mu Qingge and Xue Ranran. However she looks way older than her age due to her makeup and styling. Moreover it is remarkable that the 2 actresses who play as Mu Ranwu, the original one looks younger than Xiang Hanzhi, while the new one looks a lot older than Hanzhi 😅
Thankfully there are only 3 villains in this drama. They are all so obsessed and it is dull to watch. If only Su Yu looks around and see someone loves him unconditionally, he would have a happy life.
Meanwhile for dumb Wei Jiu, if I was Tu Jiuyan, I would've slapped him, not bcos I hate him. It's just that this man is so overly confident and narcissistic that he keeps talking and misunderstanding her. I salute Tu Jiuyan for her God tier level of patience 👏👏👏
I forgot. The first time I got to know Wang Youshuo is The Blooms at Ruyi's Pavilion. This man is really pretty! I applaud him for being such a despicable villain here 👏👏👏 with that pretty face, you would love to kick his face while watching his scenes 😅
First I totally understand why some people hate the FL. Tbh me too. Yes she is goofy, free spirited, lovely girl when she is NOT with Nan Heng. The reason why she is hated by viewers is bcos she is too fixated on the script she didn't read thoroughly and claims she knows everything. She doesn't even bother to get to know Nan Heng, the person in front of her and focuses on the script she knows. She is just like everybody else: believes in rumors and blames Nan Heng for everything. She hates him for 31 eps!! ☠ When the romance starts around ep 32 it feels off. More like she finally realizes he isn't a bad guy and accepts him.
Second, the funniest thing isn't the comedy, but how the sisters couldn't realize Nan Heng and Shangguan He are so much different as Li Shiliu: their height, eyes, voices. Li Shiliu became shorter by 10 cm and the girls didn't notice. It would be more believable if the actors have the same height.
Third, Nan Rui is actually a sweet guy. Yes he is annoying, noisy, clingy, dumb, but he is kindhearted and knows right from wrong. I like his bond with Jixiang 👍🏻
Fourth, my fav characters are Nan Heng, A He, A Long, A Hu, Yinqiu and Zhixia, perhaps also Nan Rui.

Somehow lately the ban became more reasonable. Love and Sword tells about modern girl time traveled into ancient time and it has HE. ADWAD also has HE, with the FL went through multiple trial and error, trying to fight the script. Si Jin also has reborn theme and made the FL as the saintess who can see the future.
It depends on how the writers use the theme to pass the censorship.
