I really like this drama!! After Sword and Love, this one also embraces old school wuxia. The director is really good and the fighting is beautiful. No need for slo-mo, just martial arts.

Loving Meng Ziyi as Mei Chaofeng. She is a tragic character, grew up with hatred and helplessness, struggled to live just for revenge. From cold beauty, desperation, determination, obsession, madness, she also finds a glimmer of hope, peace, family, love.

Honestly speaking, Mei Chaofeng brings disasters to the Peach Blossoms Island. If only she hadn't meet them all, if only she wasn't obsessed with revenge, if only she was patience, she would live a happier live. She meets the right person at the wrong time and loses the chance to live as a normal person. Karma hits hard.

Chen Xuanfeng is lovely. He genuinely loves Chaofeng knowing her intentions and supports her no matter what. perhaps he knows she didn't love him and only used him to help her, but he didn't mind. He just wants to be with her.

What I don't like since TLOH is Huang Yaoshi. He changed drastically from what I know. The Eastern Heretic has a bad reputation. Being called demon for the evil things he did. He is arrogant, cruel, intimidating, ambitious, charismatic, and looks down on people. He aims to be the best martial artist. Only after his wife died, he regrets for being too obsessed. Yet this new remake makes him look so mellow, gentle, compassion, sickly, kindhearted, doesn't care about martial arts.

Other thing I hate is Mei Chaofeng's revenge plot is too long! She is ambitious and stole the manual for her own selfishness, but this drama made her as a tragic character and the manual acts as her holy cure for her reasoning to steal it.

If you are planning to watch it for Meng Ziyi, then watch it. Her character is a villain, an antihero born from a tragic past and driven by revenge.

Although there is romance here and there, the main focus is all kind of relationships. The fighting scenes for me is good, way better than any idol drama in recent years which use too much slo-mo instead of fighting.

Also, this is one of the prequel stories for the main drama, Legend of Heroes, which Meng Ziyi is the villain. However you don't need to watch the other 3 prequel stories if you don't want to.

MDL messed up with the series or perhaps several users submitted different titles and staff accepted them all. This one contains the main story which has 30 episodes. While the prequel story is divided into 4 stories, each has 8 episodes.

This drama is so unserious, absurd and silly! This is NOT romcom, this is pure comedy slapstick. You feel like watching old school show, such as The Nanny. The actors did great in overacting in every scene.

I laughed so hard during the scene where he takes off her pants 🤣
Or when FL tells the kidnappers by selling ML "He has nice body, tender skin, good kidney." 🤣

There is a noisy SFL, but she isn't an annoying bitch. She doesn't even like the ML and sometimes clicks so well with the FL. She's so silly 👍🏻

I highly recommend it for those who want to laugh and let go of your stress.

ML is handsome in modern looks 👍🏻

Tbh I'm one of the very few who doesn't want them to end up together. Not bcos he is a jerk, or a red flag, or a sadist, or a rap1st. Mainly bcos she has a mission. She must return. The whole time I watched I was like "just get divorce already!"

Anyway the ML is a good guy. He is devoted, loving, genuine. But before the FL inhabited the body of the crown princess, it seems that the ML treated her bad.

The SFL is an idiot. FL has been trying to get a divorce, yet this bitch keeps thinking FL is faking to get ML's attention. Yeah whatever.

The last 20 minutes or so is weird. Suddenly FL is back to her savage mode and the whole melodramatic scenes happen one after another until the end.

This one is actually good, but it's lacking. The sudden change from the husband would obviously make her confuse. Well thankfully she isn't the type who will get swayed by scumbag who lie to make her divorce her husband. The last 20 minutes is too rushed. Suddenly they go into blockbuster kinda plot. Yeah 😒

But I must say Zhao Muyan is really amazing! She learned sign language for this drama 👍🏻

I love love love this one much more than their previous drama which also tells about fake siblings and has BE.

This drama is so adorable!!Zhao Muyan is perfect as green tea girl. Look at her being this imouto type, with all the sparkling and lighting ❤ Her chemistry with Wang Yiran is perfect as always! Grandma is hilarious and witty, but she keeps butting at the wrong moment 😭

Glad that the bitches only appear in the first 30 minutes and last moment. So you can enjoy this drama and focus on the couple being cute.
