I've seen the ending clips on weibo and Twitter when it finished airing. Therefore it took me time before I decided to watch the drama.

Should I stop watching at ep 35 or 38? My bias is Qian Zhao btw.

I'd say 5 eps on the pretending, while the rest is real feelings. Then from ep 17/18 the cold war started.
And oh He Zhen was mumbling as well, so reluctant to say the words. You know, when someone is so reluctant, you won't even bother to listen.

They spent more than 10 eps for the cold war 🙄

Btw I don't like how Zhao Quan didn't tell Miantang that Xingzhou is seriously injured after saving a kid. He was mumbling, even asked He Zhen as a mediator. Really? He Zhen would never say anything for Xingzhou's sake.

I think it is meant to be the setup of why Shin is so in love with Juyeon. Perhaps after that, the writer will either make Shin the obsessive guy who tries to steal back Juyeon, or the bad guy who tries to hurt Goon. Perhaps before, he didn't hurt Goon, it was an accident, but after Juyeon and Goon start dating, Shin will really hurt Goon.

I said this last week or so. All 4 characters are not flawless bcos they are humans. Currently except Saeyan, the other three have traumatic past which resulted in their current state. Lonely, isolated, fear. Every human just need one person who is on your side for you to survive even the hardest storm.

Btw about their mom. Since Goon became a broken trophy, their mom is forcing Shin to fulfill her unfinished desire to produce a top athlete. She was a former athlete and she wants Shin to be her puppet and trophy. Thanks to her selfish desire, Goon lost his place and Shin lost his freedom. Even the ceo mocks at Goon and sees Shin as gold mine. If the father has the guts to discipline his wife, their family wouldn't end up like that.

I think this is the first time in a drama that both leads are tsundere! They keep arguing bcos they won't admit their inner feelings. Typical tsundere, always speak the opposite of the meanings 🙄 Being a fan of anime for more than 20 years, one paragraph isn't enough to explain how much I hate tsundere. But here, since both are tsundere, it feels okay 😅

Goon x Saeyan
Shin x Juyeon

I know this is wrong, but this is for the better. Goon misunderstood Saeyan and Shin. Once the mystery is solved, Goon and Saeyan can start anew without hard feelings.
Also, Shin and Juyeon make a good couple who will support each other. When they are together, they can be themselves.

Another reason why I admire Jin Seyeon besides her acting is bcos she can speak long sentences in one breath 👍🏻

And oh btw when she escaped from the house, I'm pretty sure she didn't wear her bra 😅

Correct me if I'm wrong, but He Xuanlin dubbed her own character. She also voiced her Qingkui (TSL) and Lin Wenyu (PL).

I'm currently reading the novel! Tbh I'm more interested in second cp.

The main cp has a lot of happy moments, a lot of sex scenes, and Xie Wanyin has 2 more men crazily in love with her. Basically she doesn't suffer at all and Dongfang Zui has all the power, just need the time to use them. Their story is happy from the start to the end.

On the other hand, the second cp suffers from the start to the end, especially Jiang Mingyue. She does not have a single happy moment. Xie Tinghan is her only light and is her strength to continue living. Btw unlike the drama, Mingyue was sold by her family to the emperor, but she was sent to the cold palace after she committed suicide. She was saved by Dongfang Zui, changed her identity and was able to live outside. But before Tinghan proposes marriage, Mingyue is married to Li Chi! Yes, Li Chi who is infatuated with Xie Wanyin in the drama! He actually marries Mingyue! He does a lot of despicable things to her while being gentle and doting her everyday. It will take a whole lot of sentences to explain what happens to second cp 😭

But don't worry, both couples have happy ending!

I immediately read it.

Jiang Yuer and Jiang Mingyue are one person. Yuer is her birth name. When she is rescued by Dongfang Zui, she changes her name to Mingyue. Tinghan still calls her Xiaoyu, then Dongfang Zui grants her royal name of Princess Yuhui.

The story of second cp is indeed so good!!! I became even more biased towards them 😭

What about the second cp? I'm more interested in them 😭 in the ending clip, A Yue is wearing somewhat concubine clothes running with Tinghan. I hope that means HE for them 😭

I watched this out of curiosity out of nowhere on ytube. But then I immediately hated FL. She made me want to slap her everytime she came on screen with her "I'm so pitiful" yet horny face but she actually can't wait to xxx with ML. I've seen this kind of FL on almost every otoge and erohon 😒 I dropped it on eps 6.

But I read comment about the ending. Hoho... I might watch the ending then!

I watched until ep 6 and well thankfully ML isn't a red flag. It's just the first impression was so awful that FL doesn't trust him at all. But for someone who is on guard, FL swallowed everything the ML gave her 🤷‍♀️ If it were me, I would throw them all.

Also I keep seeing Qingkui and Lin Wenyu in Xie Wanyin. Perhaps bcos the characters are too similar? I haven't watched Love & Bid Farewell, but from the trailers, FL is so hopeless and tragic. Hoping that Always My General will be different from He Xuanlin's previous roles.

Tbh I'm more interested on the second cp: A Yue and Xie Tinghan.
