Jaemin is very smart, putting the meeting point to be right in the building he currently was, even if it's someone you hated, the proximity will add to your curiosity to want to know exactly what he wants to say. Plus he's already nervous about his big presentation and wouldn't want that curiosity to further place him on edge. All these factors added up, there's a very little chance that he wouldn't go.

I love how y'all see healthy relationships as boring. Keep being in interesting relationships that keep you on your toes trying to keep up with your partner's mood swings and possessive behaviours. But that's not what Daon wants.
