On Heesu in Class 2 Apr 26, 2025
He said Heesu could have prepared him for the confession. And I'm like what? And heesu apologised? Sorry, for your momentary bout of surprise because I told you something that has been eating me up for years. Sorry, for your incapacity to accommodate my issues when I've been your shoulder for years.
This series failed woefully at whatever it set out to do.
Youth drama? The friendship highlighted is at best shallow, to me it's a toxic one.
Straight Romance that's meant to "appeal to the larger audience"? A lackluster, cliched and unoriginal romance that I wouldn't spare a glance if it wasn't attached to Heesu's story. Heck, Jiyu and Chanyoung don't even have the slightest chemistry.
Sports? They didn't even give a conclusion to Chanyoung's journey to tennis stardom. (Maybe that's a good thing) However, this just underscores the fact that they've been using this as a plot device to distract from the story that they're meant to be focusing on. No hate (maybe a little) to the actor but it just seems like they are trying to make this into a breakout role for him but horribly done. Why would you put a spotlight on him and distract from the main story especially if his character isn't even a likeable one.
The actual coming-of-age queer story? Practically non-existent.
Kudos to the team for managing to turn a simple story that was regarded as a gem into this flaming pile of sh*t.

Do we really need Chan Yeong motivating Ji yu & Ji Yu Singing in the final episode??? The plot was good, the actors…
And a whole montage of the straight couple's romance in a BL, when the main characters are yet to confess to each other?

I was right to expect nothing when i heard this was being released after 3 long years. When it's not even produced in China that the producers would be fighting tooth and nail to get the series to air.

I might be slow, but is there a reason why you would need to inform your ex crush that you like him before confessing…
Yeah, but does it have to be before he tells his crush he likes him. I feel like this could be done later or even if he needed to do that he shouldn't have brought Seung won into the room first and then dismiss him to tell Chanyoung. How would that make Seungwon feel. It's like calling your ex during your wedding day to inform them that you loved them but will be moving on to be happy with your current partner.
Whatever sentiments they were trying to show was very horribly timed and honestly feels like the directors are obsessed with including Chanyoung into every significant moment of Heesus's life. Almost like they took the phrase "Chanyoung's shadow" and made it Heesu's entire character.

this show needs a second season. it's not fair to the audience only see ten final minutes of segunwon and heesu…
You might not even get to see 10 minutes of them being together. They're going to cram Jiyu's singing competition, Chanyoung's tennis match, the school festival and confession all in one episode. They'd probably confess at the final minutes, smile to each other and hold hands, and that would be all.

I was disappointed that he didn't confess at the beginning of the episode(although with their track record, I suspected that would be the case), but to make Chanyoung be the distracting factor and making it seem like Heesu is still pining for him was just foul.
And later in the episode, with that beautiful scene in the classroom and that beautiful monologue which seemed like such a perfect set up to a beautiful confession and what did these geniuses do, cut it abruptly to Chanyoung playing tennis🤬🤬🤬🤬

I've never really disliked Chanyoung contrary to popular opinions; yes, his story and character is a bit lackluster but I didn't hate him, until this episode. How dare he make Heesu seem like a bad friend just because he didn't publicly want to announce his crush to you. It was obvious to him that he was struggling with him yet he was still pressuring him to say it to him. Why doesn't he look inwards and guess why Heesu isn't confortable telling him such a secret given how long you've "been friends" with him.

Ok I agree with you on most of the part but I feel even akin is also at fault here....he knew something wrong…
In no way is Akin at fault, he's yet to understand and accept what just happened to him, he shouldn't also have to deal with Jin's emotions.

I will never unterstand why people make themselves so vulnerable by drinking sm that they don't even know what's…
The drinking culture in some Asian countries is truly worrisome especially when a good percentage of them are genetically intolerant of alcohol. I can never understand the appeal of getting drunk, especially in the midst of strangers and losing your self control.

This episode was undiluted PAIN😫😭
My heart breaks for Akin, having to go through the experience of being sexually assaulted, then trying to figure out if he was sexually assaulted and still having to face a partner that feels betrayed in just one day while still maintaining a social persona. I totally get him stepping out of that car, it's overwhelming.

why ask him out if you're just gonna ignore him lmao
He only planned for a rejection, and never thought Jihoon would accept him.
