This is my first time watching a weekend drama. I was worried about the number of episodes and the slow pace, but I was encouraged by the positive comments in the forums and decided to give this a try. So far, I am enjoying most of it. I like the main leads and all of the brothers and I am interested to see what happens with each character's storylines. Although I admit I am fast forwarding through the Zumba brother and Salon Lady storyline. I find her character very frustrating, even though I know those two are the "comic relief." I guess this plotline is very popular in South Korea, because they take up a lot of screentime compared to the other characters. I'd much rather see more scenes of the youngest former Navy SEAL brother and the ML daughter who is studying fashion design. Last week's Ep. 14 was so funny. I find the ML quite humorous. He is quite attracted to the FL already even though he doesn't realize it. He wants her to be a good person so badly because he likes her, so it's driving him crazy when he sees all these "gold digging" type of behaviors from FL not knowing she is trying to get rid of the blind dates. I hope that they will clear up the misunderstandings soon. It would be nice to have those two in a more "friends to lovers" type of storyline since both are still recovering from the deaths of their spouses. Although, after 15 years, it makes sense that the ML is finally starting to move on. I'm not sure how the drama is going to resolve the FL getting into a new relationship since she has been portrayed as so completely devoted to her dead husband. The writers gave them a whirlwind courtship ( I think they said Jang Soo proposed 3 months after they met each other) and then they were married only 10 days, so I guess this will be the explanation. Maybe there will be a time jump later in the drama? Anyway, I look forward to Ep. 16
FL is NOT sleeping with anyone than ML from what i have seen.In this version FL is not as spiteful as she was…
Thank you for your insights. Much appreciated. It's good to know that they made some changes. I will give this drama a try because I really like FZX acting.
Someone else mentioned that perhaps it is because it is a mini drama with episodes only 15 minutes long that the…
You're welcome. I think it has to do more with the total length of the dramas. Full-length regular drama episodes are usually 45 min long, so 40 episodes is 30 hours total. I think as long as the mini dramas don't exceed 30 hours total, they can have more episodes. This drama episodes are 15 minutes, I believe, so 14 hours total.
OOh! Fan Zhi Xin is back in a new drama! I want to support him, but I'm a little hesitant to watch this drama as I did not like the Thai original version. FL in that one was just too much for me and so nasty to the ML. Are they following the original storyline closely? Is the female lead bratty and mean in this drama?
I'm confused. I thought this show was already finished filming and aired around 2020? Now I see article that the show is going to be released soon? What is going on with this drama?

Yes, I saw that "evil edit" move. So disappointing, as I was hoping to see some good friendships form even if there wasn't any strong couples forming. I'm not excited by what I saw in the Ep. 2 preview where all the girls seemed captivated by the new guy. It was giving me flashbacks to HS4 where all the guys liked the same girl, which made things very boring. I agree with you that Heart Signal China really improved things when they expanded the cast size to 12 people. It's so much more satisfying to follow multiple couples, for me, anyway.
I need some clarification. Are the main leads lesbian characters or not? I'm trying to make a plan to watch list for myself of dramas with lesbian characters and I'm not sure if this drama qualifies, despite the fantasy kiss. Any help appreciated. Thanks in advance.
Is this the heart signal for this year or something completely different?
Unfortunately, it is Heart Signal version 2.0 I was hoping it was a totally new program. Hopefully, they have a new PD at the very least, after the total crapfest that was Heart Signal 4.
They're calling it a spin-off but lets be for real here, so far this is just a botched HS5 on a budget comeback…
For real, Heart Signal China is 1 billion times better than Heart Signal Korea. At least in China Version we can see multiple couples. I tuned in because I thought Heart Pairing was a totally new show, unrelated to Heart Signal. But yeah, unfortunately I can see the same old HS tropes creeping back in here. Will stay for the Italy episodes at least as I'm hoping we get some sightseeing dates. It seems a shame not to have a day trip to Florence, at least, since they are in Tuscany.

Anyway, I look forward to Ep. 16
