Yes, CE is the best! Love her! I don't know if Chan Hyeong is the right person for her. They seemed to have a connection, but now I have doubts, and he seems to be going after the new girl in the preview. I respect Ha Neul as well for giving it her all. At least she will have no regrets, thinking if only she had done more. The woman has been crystal-clear with both Ji Min and Chan Hyeong. All right, confession time. Chae Eun is my favorite for this season of Heart Signal 5 (aka Heart Pairing. It's supposed to be following a new direction, but let's be real: this show is following the Heart Signal playbook and tropes. "Marriage in mind? "LOL, yeah, sure.) This week we have the female catfish at the last minute, no time to really get to know the participants. I figure she was brought in as a last-minute option for whichever of the guys didn't have a person. Which is currently Chang Hwan. I'm glad that she is at least in her early 30's so CH can be comfortable to consider her.
Anyway, I enjoyed watching my girl Chae Eun doing what she likes best: cooking and eating food. I was rooting for her and Chan Heyeong until their last date when it was revealed that CH couldn't be bothered to read the text she sent the night before the date. Poor CE had to beg him to read it and respond to her before their time was up. It was sad, but it showed me CH is not interested in CE. Now, most likely any woman CH dates is going to come in 3rd if they are lucky, after his patients and his start up company. But he said he specifically took time off work to focus on the show, so that makes me assume he is putting his energy toward the ladies and the dating, so the fact that he didn't bother checking his phone more than once for any texts from his contract girlfriend whom he seemed to really like was a warning signal. My Chae Eun deserves way better! I'm sad for her because she seems to like CH the most of all the guys. I'm afraid she will end the show alone. From the preview, CH is going after the new girl.
