The level of plot armor Cha Eun Woo has here is crazy. Anyway loved his acting here. Although I mostly kept watching it for Kim Nam Gil

you would be missing out if you don’t watch it. Shin Hye Sun’s phenomenal comical performance here is just out of the world. I enjoyed it so much and I rewatch it every now and then when I need a good laugh

For filming, I think it depends on whether the specials are preplanned or fan-demanded. Sometimes, those specials are in the form of BTS, extra content, or unused scenes. In that case, they are footage shot earlier during the main filming. In the case of K-drama Kingdom, the special episode was filmed after the drama was released, and it took around a year for it to come out.

Specials are usually released after the series ends airing. However, in the case of K-drama Mister Queen, two special episodes (called 'The Bamboo Forest') were released just before the final episode aired.

I searched and found that the filming period was from August 22nd, 2023 to March 1st, 2024. So it took around 10 months to air.

This show started a wave!
I remember as the drama started airing mid-June almost everyone was talking about it! I saw so many reels of Chi Cheng that even now whenever I listen to Stacks from All Sides (by Skai isyourgod), I can’t help imagining Chi Cheng!
The execution’s fantastic and the actors are great! They not only have insane face cards, their acting amazed me as well!
I’ve been stuck at episode 19 for a while now. I used to watch it every week when it was airing, but had to pause for some reason. Then it suddenly wrapped up, and I’ve heard the ending was kinda disappointing. Now I’m scared to continue, afraid it might ruin the perfect image I have of it in my mind

I just finished the first season (yes I know I am late) and I have to say that Study Group is one of the best drama in 2025 and now that the second season has been confirmed, my heart is contented!

This drama was so fun to watch! The action scenes are so cool and refined, they’re all so satisfying to watch. They all had their own valid motivations which made the feel more real and the comical moments made the drama more enjoyable.
What I loved the most about this series is that they made all the female characters so resilient and admirable, and not weak like many action movies or drama do.

THIS IS A MASTERPIECE! This drama deserves more recognition

Female students are seated in separate classrooms. The female characters here are so strong actually.. They are not simply damsels in distress waiting to be saved. They fight back. I am also watching it rn

I watched this drama when I was at the lowest point of my life. This drama made me laugh, cry and feel all kind of emotions. Perhaps because of that, this drama holds a very special place in my life.
