I'm gonna miss this drama. The first few episodes are really fun to watch the very reason it trended on MDL for a few weeks.

All the cast showed impressive acting skills and are perfect for their roles. The side couples made the show extra special. Aside from the visuals I am loving the chemistry of the three pairs.

If you just want to watch something fluffy or lighearted you should check this out.

It started really well but it gets draggy during the last few episodes. It took so long for Han Hui to decide her next career move. The whole story revolves around Feimo moving on and finding the woman who saved him.At the same time Nuanuan doing her best to make a name in the industry.

For the first time I must say Shizuka as the new Rika really showed impressive acting skills. She nailed that scene in ep 10.

The remake wants to justify the ending of the 1991 version. Kanchi and Satomi's story were highligted in the show. I remembered how I dislike Satomi in one episode in the old version that one chance Rika and Kanchi missed.Damn it would have been a perfect ending.

I don't really understand why Mrs. Shan keeps pushing Yunyi and Junhao together. Presumably Qianyuo was the one who got adopted and was groomed to be the perfect wife his mother would probably allow them to be together.I think since Junhao's parents always supports Yunyi of marrying Junhao that gave her so much hope.Even if she was adopted marrying Junhao will give her the right to be a true member of the Shan family.
Both are at fault actually Junhao never made it clear right from the start.
I wonder why Qianyou and Shan Jun hao choose to be together. She loved Junhao when he has nothing. Undoubtedly Taichu is also a better choice he is the true definition of a real gentleman.
Ziqian is a nice person but revenge changed him. Yunyi better choose this guy .He would give up everything in thr name of love.
Kindness will give you kindness in return.
Zhang Ming han who seems to
be a bad guy turns out to be an ally.
The episodes got better whenTonghao becomes the cold. Junhao again

If Shan JunHao is the frog prince then Taichu is the knight and shining armor.

From what I know the male lead never showed any pictures of him even in the news they only know his name not until an incident happened after he regained his memory back when an internet celebrity wanted an apology and that was the time his face was face was revealed.

IT WAS TAEOH'S GREED THAT LED TO HIS DOWNFALL
Seeing those flashbacks with him and Sunwoo they are once a happy family but he wasted it.He was the real jerk or "nampyeonsekki" in Korean. Taeoh is just stressing Sun woo out till the very end. He never realized what a wonderful family he had not until it is gone.In the end it was Sunwoo who picked him up after all the mess he made.He ruined everything and now he is begging Sun woo.
Joonyoung is suffering like any other children is also suffering it did have a psychological impact on him since he is still growing up and I must have hated the fact that he decided to stay with Tae oh in the beginning when he could have been a man to protect his mother but he has those pent up feelings seeing how his family fell apart since every child wants to grow in a safe and secure environment.Joonyoung finally realized her mother's great love for him.
It was a realistic ending because even if they will end up together as a family things will never be the same way again.Joonyoung needs to heal and I think when they stayed in Gosan it will only bring back old memories. I hope Joonyoung will be a better man than Taeoh.
Sunwoo is the true definiton of a strong woman.Taeoh did so many bad things to her as if she was being killed alive.She wasn't a perfect character but since they provoked her she fought back.
It is hard to earn that trust back as shown in Hyerim and Jehyuk's relationship.It will only led to more misunderstandings in the future. The insecurities and trauma it gave her was just hard to bear.
It is sad to see families going through the same situationespecially children going through a rough time dealing with this kind of problems.

Hahahaaa He should have married Dakyung knowing how the chairman trusted that spy so much more than Taeoh. Just kidding.

To be honest I find the first episodes boring but it got better after ep 12. The chemistry is there and the male lead here is so sweet.But i probably wouldn't rewatch this drama.But overall this is a cute and fluffy drama.Some scenes made my heart melt.
I think ALSB is still my favorite out of all the trilogy that drama got me hooked from beginning to end.

The fact that in the old version they didn't put so much emphasis on Rika's relationship with the boss. Rika in this remake is more mature.But I think what makes Rika standout in the old version is her soothing voice everytime he calls Kanchi that fits her personality very well.But both actresses did very well in portraying Rika.

I am not exactly sure if they officially released this song and so far I only found the shorter version.The song is called I found myself in you by Teya flow. I'm not even sure if that is the official title.I've been looking for this song anywhere.

I think everything Dakyung did is for her own advantage and using underhand tactics to prove that she is someone Taeoh can rely on. I can never see her in a positive light because she acts so proud for what she had done.Same goes with Tae oh they are both selfish people only thinking about their own happiness and never apologized to the people they have hurt.

I don't want to comment on this but when you said the word "pressure" it has so much weight whether how big or small that pressure is it can influence the parties involved particularly Taeoh who decides to break his marriage vows just to be with her. Dakyung in this case interfered remember she is just an outsider she is partly responsible and I did not say she receives all the blame she did add pressure in Taeoh's previous marriage especially if there were problems with his wife.It was stealing someone's husband because her wife didn't know the affair for years even if it wasn't her idea but she willingly gave in.Do you think she had it for free after they divorced.
I do understand the enormous effort Dakyung did I tried to understand her character from her perspective only then I realized that inside her heart is full of self-doubt and insecurities and only by winning people who have judged her will she be able to redeem herself instead of apologizing. If I were on Dakyung's shoes i might not realize that I am not only hurting others but ruining myself in the the process because regrets always come late. It bothers me why people hated me because I don't want to admit my mistakes and inside my head I am just doing this in the name of love which in fact is because of my own selfishness and self-denial. Whatever is in Dakyung's heart is manisfested in her actions that is why she needs to accept her own mistakes instead of being so proud of it and this the reason why people hated her instead of sympathizing with her.
If you said well written it is because it makes my blood boil and I know you are trying to convince me to feel sorry for her character but I don't think she needs it now.
She needs to face the consequences of her own actions and have the taste of her own medicine.
There a lot other wicked characters other than Dakyung but some of them become better people and others might have suffered.

Well there are annoying 3rd parties but this show is very predictable.

There is really nothing sorry about a character who showed no mercy and never pay retribution for their sins.Dakyung is no different especially Tae oh.They rather want people to bow down to them and apologize and act like they are the victim.
I'd rather feel sorry for people who knows how to lower their ego and admit their mistakes.She is masking her real intentions to the point that she would choose to do more wrong than to do right is not worthy of praise.not even pity because characters like her not just Dakyung who would do everything they want out of desperation needs to learn their lesson first. When they get back to their senses they realized that their efforts proved futile.That is the sad part.
It is not just mere criticism but rather I look on the intent of her actions in which she is accountable for and she showed no contemplation for what she had done.
As a viewer I started to ponder why she choose that path and point out her weak points that she needs to improve on so that her character will not suffer in the show and the writers wanted her and every characters on the show to learn a lesson.
We both have varied opinions regarding this matter.No further arguments after this.

I feel like there is much hype with this drama especially casting up pretty actors and i think very popular especially the female lead. but I think I'll pass this one maybe this isn't just something I am looking for.

1.That is what I've been thinking as well.She looks quite different or was she a half caste? I really don't know.
2.This is not something new in Cdramas almost half of all the dramas I watched had western actors and to my surprise most chinese actors in those dramas speaks English really well esp.the accent.

People who wants to justify their actions even if they know it is wrong needs to reflect on themselves first before asking people if they deserved that sympathy and only through admission of guilt they will realized their own mistakes. Dakyung wants to keep her family without even feeling sorry ruining someone's family.
She just wants to prove to the whole world that Tae oh choosing her was the right thing to do and that her marriage to Taeoh would last compared to Sunwoo. For me she is just showing off that she finally got what she wanted.helping Joonyoung with the school incident is just like making herself a fake superhero and that she is better than Sunwoo someone that Taeoh and Joonyoung can rely on. Well then I commend her for her efforts in hitting two birds with one stone.
Joonyoung decided stay with Tae oh but Sun woo didn't dragged Joonyoung out of that house even if she has every right because it is her own son compared to Dakyung acting so pretentious.Her plans backfired on her.
Ok i get the part that she wanted to protect that marriage because only
when she married Tae oh(or she could have married anyone else)that she started to put herself in Sun woo's shoes.She knows both exactly what an affair is and to get cheated on.so that earnest desire to save her marriage is her fear that she made the wrong choice or a sign of defeat.There is really nothing wrong in protecting a marriage but in Dakyung's case it was built on lies and betrayal in which she took part in so that is why I can never empathize her.
When you talk about pity is that she go through all that lengths (her efforts)sacrificing herself and knowing that Tae oh realized that he didn't really loved her.Then she shouldn't have settled with a man like Tae oh.Regrets always come late.

Well mistresses always compete with the real wife and would take advantage of the situation especially if couples are not in good terms.She finally had Taeoh and now wants Joonyoung on her side.She is a mother herself and knows how it would hurt Sunwoo but she insists raising him on her own terms.That for me is too selfish.If you said that she needed sympathy because she sacrificed everything for the sake of love well then she doesn't need it.Her parents even tolerated her and and she is so proud of her actions.Dakyung knows there is no turning back and she cannot undo what she had done that is why she doesn't want her effort to put into waste and show to people who judge her that she was so mighty and brave is just an act to cover up her mistakes.
Same with Tae oh who never regretted his actions and even asking for forgiveness is such a jerk.
Sunwoo's parents divorced when she was young that is why she always wanted to have a happy family.Dakyung was born with a silver spoon having very supportive parents and thinking that through her Tae oh and Joonyoung will live a normal life is not as easy as she thinks
The characters in the show have their own flaws but I think it is meant to teach people some life lessons.
