Did I miss anything in the drama. During the opening song I've seen a few scenes between Wang Zhen ren and the girl who hated Jiaxin in the first half of the drama.Was that even shown in the series or was it an extra scene???

The grandmother after 30ish ep or something disappear in a few episodes and then suddenly appeared in the last episode.What i like about the Taiwanese version is the pacing is really good and not much filler episode.

I loved the chemistry of the leads never a dull moment between them.

-The leads have an undeniable chemistry
-Story gets draggy
-Some important parts were not included in this remake
-Amazing soundtrack
-The male lead is very indecisive
-There isn't much difference in the female lead's character transformation.
-The ending could have been better.It was rushed and it took only one ep to resolve the whole conflict when they could have incorporated something more in the storyline.
-Plausible acting of the characters.

One of the main highlights of this series is the female lead's comeback scene at the airport making everyone's jaw dropped.It seems like this drama missed the important parts.Was that specific scene shown in the drama or didid I miss anything?
They could have incorporated something more in the storyline considering the number of episodes.The leads do have their moments together but it seems like something is lacking in this version.The soundtrack is definitely perfect.

Nothing can beat the Taiwanese version.

Does this ever happen in reality?The world is really small and Jiaxin will surely meet Anna but damn who would want their wife to cross paths with their ex.This is the downside of Xiyi's character he can't choose. Everyone is at fault here.Anna lost a lot of chances already.
Chen Jiaxin was just too good for Xiyi and wanting to sacrifice her happiness for Anna to forgive her.

Really I had no idea.I haven't really finished unexpected because of the delay in subs and i got bored waiting.So i skipped to the ending.
In unexpected the writer should find ways to save the second female lead.Hahaaa this is so funny.

Yea looking forward to her new dramas.I hope she wouldn't be stereotyped with these type of characters.But definitely comedy is one of her forte.

Zhao lusi is no doubt a good actress.But watching her previous dramas I also feel the same way. She is very good with these type of roles and very natural when it comes comedy.
I also wanted to see her in a new type of role.

Zhao Lusi is very good with these type of roles.She seems so bubbly in real life like her character and talkative.Ding YuXi is getting popular these days.I haven't watched his other dramas except this one.
With so many on my list I kinda skipped some scenes without missing the important parts.This drama is cleverly written.
This drama is quite similar to Unexpected cdrama but with a huge twist the female lead is the writer and now part of her story she has to find ways to save herself.
It also talks about equality which is something new.

There seems to be changes in this version considering the number of episodes.The japanese remake only had 10 episodes and a lot of scenes were added in this remake.I've always loved the chemistry between the leads and so far this is good.The taiwanese version is incomparable.

It must be very unfair in Rika's part I also feel the same when I watched the original ending.I was debating over the fact why they weren't together in the end.I almost cried since Rika is a lovable person.

This time the writers wants to justify the original ending. Having watched both versions I can say this one is a reasonable ending.Kanchi gave up first in the relationship. She was reluctant to break up at first because she was unsure of who is the father of the baby. I was hoping it would be him.She always wanted Kanchi to think of her first but there were times he would rushed to helped Satomi and he even meet Satomi while Rika was away.
I was also hoping that they would change the ending but they remained faithful to the manga I guess.
Yes the other characters are happily enjoying their lives. I was not expecting Mikami to marry Nagasaki and Satomi to rely on Kanchi but Rika will always be part of their lives.
I presumed this one is an open ending.
I said before that I wouldn't keep my hopes up for this drama because I know how it ended.

Rika is now happy with his son.She doesn't have to be alone anymore.When I watched the ending of the 1991 version I feel sorry for Rika because she loved Kanchi deeply and hoping that Kanchi would choose her.Her love for Kanchi was too heavy.She was still single and Kanchi married Satomi.
But in this version I finally understand why Kanchi doesn't deserve Rika. Even if they look perfect together they weren't meant for each other.The twist here is that if it was Kanchi's child there is a possibility for them to get back together.
The painting about those birds represents both of them one flew so fast that the other one couldn't catch up as if they are moving at a different phase.

Kanchi choose Satomi in the end.Rika waited for Kanchi hoping to sort things out between them but that night Satomi went to his house not wanting him to go it was too late for Kanchi since whe he arrived to their meeting place Rika left already. I feel like Rika deserved to receive the same kind of love he had for Kanchi. She was still the carefree type at the end but for sure Kanchi is her one great love. There was that pang of regret that they could have ended up together.

In the 2020 version Rika left Kanchi because she knew that even if he stays with Kanchi still he will be torn apart between her and Satomi and the fact that she has a child.I finally understand why it ended that way and at least Rika is enjoying her life with her little man.

I think Kanji and Satomi married in the 1991 version.

I presume this one is an open ending but at least Rika in this version is no longer alone but a devoted mother.

You will surely love the ending.There is a love triangle but not to the extent that it gets annoying but the cast really are very good actors.

It ended the same way as the old version but there was a scene in the old version where Rika and Kanchi lost their one chance to get back together because of Sekiguchi.But I think even if they are faithful to the original ending this one is way better because Rika had a son and it presume this one is an open ending.
I was more sad with the ending of the 1991 version than with this one.

I mean the finale was good but I think 36 episode drama is way too long.
