Both parties will also have to deal with the consequences of the relationship which would involve public opinion and decisions about their careers.

Interesting, but I live in the USA, MN. The policy depends on the company. They can have non-fraternization policies in order to prevent anything that would violate title VII of the civil rights act or both parties will have to notify HR and certain forms will have to be filled out, etc… I also think that the idea that it is impossible for ANY person to give full consent to a relationship if it is with the CEO of their company is an exaggerated generalization. We are all human beings and it is certainly possible to develop feelings for another person even if it is with the CEO.A person should have the right to agree or disagree to date or marry whoever they want. Therefore, like I previously stated, I personally don’t see a problem with it, that’s just my opinion and I respect yours.

To each their own. But, I respectfully disagree. I don’t see why this would be a problem. I have worked for companies where the CEO dated or was married to someone at the same company. A CEO can hire family and friends as well, they could be shady with anyone TBH. Let’s be real. However, I have personally never witnessed it.

I agree. It seems odd that the FL would admit her feelings and acknowledge that she has a beautiful "home" with the ML, then turn around and say that she's leaving, like WTF? I truly thought that since this show began with a wedding, it would end with a wedding. That they would have some last catastrophe happen, solve it, Qiu Yan would come back from the dead through some trickery, then he would marry her as his legal wife. Then we would finally get our 1.2 second brush of lips a.k.a. "kiss" and a pat on the back, THE END. However, from the previews, the ending will be much more grim, some people are about to die and I am just preparing myself for a BS ambiguous ending.

I would recommend it if bloody and violent scenes don’t make you queasy, it is a good show, just kinda annoying at times because things that should be obvious will take the Main Leads awhile to figure out.

It doesn’t seem like this will have a happy ending since the FL is so Blatant about the revenge. She certainly has guts, especially when she is mostly alone against this very powerful and very dangerous family on their home turf. It would be easy for them to kill her and/or Vee and make it look like an accident. I feel sorry for Vee and Pear, who knows what terrors they suffered in that house. I will cross my fingers and pray that all the villains get justice in the end or die horribly.

Trigger Warning, this show has a lot of violence. The first scene definitely sets up the series. However, the plot is interesting and the acting is good. I also like the cinematography and music, they are both well done. I just binged the first 4 eps and it left me shook.

My Best Ending EVER = Both ML’s die, then Haishi becomes the Empress, she changes some laws and kicks some ass, then she marries You Du and takes in the other 4 military “brothers” as HER concubines and calls it a day.

Yep. I am going to drop this until it ends and I can read the spoilers because I know the story is about to get f@cked and all of my hopes will be decimated. It makes me sad that Haishi will marry the emperor. I do not like him, he will never be redeemable to me after his treatment of Tilan.

I totally agree. I really liked this at first even though the cliches and trips are a bit much. But I am super annoyed at the flirt and push attitude. She should tell him WHY she doesn’t want a relationship but she’s so damn vague. I hope this isn’t one of those dramas where they have constant misunderstandings and don’t really get together until the last 5 minutes of the drama or he goes abroad and when he comes back, she is at the airport and the show ends with a shot of his back before they reunite. 😤

I agree, it isn’t even halfway through the show, I’m sure they will laugh awkwardly about the candles, then he will pat her on the head and walk away. Then they won’t be in the same room together for another 6 episodes. I am here for it though. I am really enjoying this show. However, I wonder if whatever the mermaid gave her when they touched palms has made her stronger and more agile, because even though the fight scenes are amazing, her strength is hulk worthy at times.

I watched 8 eps, I’m good. It just isn’t my cuppa. However, I can see why a lot of people like this type of show that is silly and playful like a Disney movie, and that’s fine, to each their own.

This was such a beautiful and heartwarming story, I really enjoyed this drama. I haven’t watched that many jdramas but I hope to find more like this one.

Dropped. The plot makes no sense, two enemies are fighting but one decides to take a break, sit on a rock, and tell their enemy about how great their sister is? WTF? And this is the start of ep 1. The production is very low budget and the acting isn’t that good, especially from the ML.

This is so stupid. How can a person have a disease where they gain 100 or more pounds almost instantly just because they ate over 1000 calories in one day? The message might be good, maybe, but I couldn’t watch it long enough for the FL to gain some intelligence and acceptance for who she is. The plot is just a hot mess of a fumbling bumbling trips and cliches.

She did once when she was drunk and he thought she was talking about eggs :) I think it’s an actions rather than words situation. Even though she complained about it to her friend that Woo Yeo hadn’t said it, she also confessed that she liked him when they became a couple so… I guess he owed her one.

TheReal has straight facts! Hats off. I think 8 eps is a good enough number to form a decent opinion of the show, I have seen reviews where they only watched 10 minutes of a drama. When I watched this show, I think the issue is how women are represented, which is weak and dumb. However, to be fair, how the dude who plays Lu Yue was trembling like a rabbit in a wolf den during the team meeting was funny AF. Not the best emotional acting :)

That's an interesting concept, I didn't think of that. When they focused on the creepy guy with the ominous music in the background I thought that he might be related to the Maegu that was killed, and he wants revenge. That chick looked like she could have a few psychos in her harem.
