I think I might see As the Gods Will, when it comes out a few months after being in theaters.
About 6 months not only one or two.

I would love to see more articles on upcoming films from other countries ^_^ 'As the God's Will' reminds me of…
Yeah, it hasn't been even two years since he made Lesson of Evil and he's back to it again :D

This is great. I have hard time knowing what's upcoming for jmovie cause I haven't found a site like db for jmovies…
It will take at least a year for them to be available and subtitled.

Before watching any Miike film, I have the habit of reading what he has to say about it because usually, he gives you the general aim of the film. This time around he didn't point for gore elements like he always does (probably because we all know that he will make it bloody in a satisfying way). He said: "My aim is not to shoot an all-out action film, it’s not action per se that I’m interested in but what comes out of the struggle between the main characters."
This time, he didn't say much but the producer Shinjiro Nishimura gave me a somewhat satisfying answer: "Yakuza are unique to Japan so we combined that with vampire action. Regular people who get bitten become yakuza [sporting tattoos] and overrun the city, while the real gangsters are thrown into chaos."

This is a very original piece (not adapted from any manga, drama or anything) so I really can't wait to see it happening. A yakuza vampire action film and directed by the amazing Takashi Miike no less. Isn't that awesome or what?

Have to agree...The previous seasons were better but this one was also good enough, at least not boring. Now,…
I really don't know what they're thinking, if it doesn't come out next year then we can absolutely lose hope about it :(

Title Tokyo Tribe
This Hip Hop Action Musical sounds like another weird Japanese film I would definitely enjoy. It also got great votes from critics that I trust their judgement.
I watched the trailer and great lord, I can't wait to see Shota rapping,There are also some pretty great names like Kubozuka Takeuchi and Denden. Let's not forget Daito and Sato as well. This will be such a long wait!

8 films in 2014 alone. Darn it man! What should I watch and what should I leave behind? It's not that I am complaining or something.

on a more important note.. who's going to be mushroom head?
That's a mystery. I really can't imagine that a Korean actor can do that crazy character in a perfect way like in the Japanese version.

As opposed to the people thinking Shin Sung Rok should be the lead, I think he's perfect for the role he has...…
I agree with catnip on this, Akiyama's character wasn't supposed to be attractive, it's supposed to be madly genius and appealing with its deeds not the way it looks.

I m ok with kim so Eun, she has that naive girl look in her eyes and sung rok is perfect as the bad guy, he can…
I am not even familiar with Lee Sang Yoon. It's really hard to convince me that he can do Akiyama.

regardless of how talented they are, they're too plastic and generic tbh...can't help but wish kdrama creators…
They can't. They have a certain formula for their dramas' actors. That's why films' actors are totally different in a very good way.

Somehow, I really can´t imagine Lee Sang Yoon portraing the role that Matsuda Shota did. He always has this puppy…
I haven't seen Lee Sang Yoon in anything before so this will be the chance to discover him.
