I thought you watched My Name is Sam Soon? Or you just watched it but not dubbed?
Now, I am coming back to animeland after a somewhat long break.

I see you're giving another film a chance, is it to your liking?

Yes, it's awesome to have an eyecandy who can actually act not some sort of a shallow shell. How is MARS treating you?

Yes, I am sure a little break would be helpful and would allow me to concentrate on other things I've been neglecting and when I come back, I may as well come back with full force :D

I wouldn't say all the Arashi boys are bad. Actually I find Ohno Satochi a good actor and Ninomiya is good too but the rest, well I don't think they are that good. I dislike their music or any Asian music by the way so I am only talking acting wise.

Apparently my slump doesn't seem to go away, I will try my best to finish off Man from the Stars but I doubt if I will get back to dramas right away and I surely don't want to force myself into it.

Everyone thought A Werewolf Boy was excellent, I only found it okay. Not great as everyone claimed it is.

I am glad you like Beyond the Clouds from the many dramas you're watching. I will start it when it's nearly over because my patience level doesn't seem to be handling things well lately.

This writer seems to dislike a lot of things :O
LOL yes, I am picky that way but it's a personal opinion anyway.

Ah, Jet Li love him since I discovered him more than 20 years ago. He and Jackie Chan are my favorite martial…
Actually I mentioned My Father My Hero in the follow up list under the title "The Enforcer", they're two different titles for the same film.

Even the Hollywood ones are good, why would you not want to watch them?

My favourite Li's film is Danny the dog. He's really a great actor!!!
I agree, in Danny the Dog he proved that he can also be a respectable actor beside being a Martial Arts' star.

Yes, you should watch more of his Hong Kong/Chinese films and you will get to know how great he can be.

Great article. I love Jet Li! I find it incredible when Jet Li and actors like him (ie, Jackie Chen) are able…
Jet Li is a Wushu champion so it's a given that he can do Martial Arts even better than stunt men.

I remember his movie Romeo Must Die...not a brilliant one but some good fighting and some cool moves..have seen…
You're welcome. The reason I disliked Romeo Must Die, as stated above, is because they used too many special effect and didn't let Jet Li show his real skills. It's all based on past experience with him.

No, even Japanese have bad actors. Have you ever heard about Jonny and Associates? It's idols who became actors and most of them don't know how to act. They can be compared to Korean flower boys who are goodlooking but aren't talented with few exceptions of course. But generally speaking, Japanese have better actors than Korean.

Sometimes ago, I was watching Keizoku and by mere chance, I found out that the main leads are dating in real life because of that drama. Although, I really don't care; I was kind of glad because I like both of the leads :D

I also disliked that love line at the end of the drama, I though it was pretty pointless and almost ruined things for me but thankfully things are cool and there's another film coming up.

I am glad you liked White Vengeance; that was a great choice to start your HKC journey with. Oh, Suede is the perfect person to recommend you older Jmovies since she saw too many classics.

Do you also like Martial arts films? Or you just want some classics that aren't Martial arts oriented?

SO you only watched one dubbed drama? I've seen few of them back in the days when I didn't know Kdrama existed. We used to watch dubbed anime so you can ge the picture. But I am with you, I dislike dubbed anything, even anime, I can only watch it in Japanese now.

I get what you mean about getting to know the characters during a long time but if the director and the actors are good enough then they can make you relate to the characters even in one hour not two.

I thought you dropped Emergency Couple, did you pick it up again?

Even dramas' newbies have too many choices ahead of them. At this point, I feel like I am going through a deep slump and I just want to finish Man from the Stars and get over with it so that my list will remain empty.

Oddly enough, I dislike melodramas; they're really not my thing with one exception: I can watch revenge melos any time. I am weird I know! About Song Joong Ki, first I saw him in a supporting role in Sungkyunkwan Scandal and his character made him grew on me then in Innocent Man and A Werewolf Boy; I snapped! The guy is a respectable actor beside being a pretty face so if you want to get to know him; watch the ones I mentioned. It's too bad that he won't have anything for two whole years because of the army.

Jewel of the Palace is actually 60 episodes LOL but I am sure it would be available anywhere since it's so popular.

I see you started watching Beyond the Clouds, how is it treating you?

Considering your taste, I am sure that Mahoro Ekimae Bangaichi will fit your style since there's life situation and comedy.

Zhou Vic was gorgeous in MARS, I think that's the best role I ever saw Zhou Vic in beside Black and White. Dude, is good looking and his character is so cool. I find nothing wrong with not watching romance for a long time; I only use it to change the mood LOL

You didn't know I am going through a slump? No dramas or films appeal to me at the moment and I am sort of pushing myself to finish Man from the Stars since it finishes airing this week.

Well, I do find some actors attractive and it's completely fine but what I despise the most is when an actor, who really doesn't know how to act is called a "great actor". All what I am saying that fangirls should keep a clear difference between acting and looks.

I watch some talk shows about films news and all but those about gossip irritates the heck out of me LOL
