Well, I'm definitely not watching this one now.
I do hope everyone who does enjoys it. =)
*high five* LOL

Then you didn't watch anything dubbed from the days where they used to air Korean dramas dubbed? Apparently, the Hallyu Korean wave is striking once again and they're showing other dubbed Korean dramas at the moment.
We're not alike. I am more open with films even if I watched more films than dramas; that's because films are shorter and more enjoyable. Especially since I have many favorite actors that only take part in films.
A revenge drama made in Japan? I would gladly watch that! Now, make Odagiri Joe the male lead, I demand it!

LOL although your thoughts are right but it's not that I don't want to see someone I fancy in another woman's arms. I never feel jealous or anything like that over an actor, I can like an actor so much or I can think some actor is really hot but everythig stops there, I would think there's something wrong with me if I feel more than that for an actor. Although no offence for those who do but I can never imagine myself becoming someone's fangirl, having an exclusive bias or having dreams with my favorite actor in it.
Weird enough, I truly don't care about my favorite actors' real lives, scandals or gossip don't matter to me at all! I just want to see them on screen and that's it. That's why I dislike variety and talk shows :D
And yes, Suede is the nickname I knew you with so it's a given that I would remember it (:

Actually, I wouldn't blame the Alien for my slump; that would be unfair because I think it's because of what's going on in my life that I don't feel like watching any drama so no, it's not his fault LOL
My name is Sam Soon? Of course I liked this one! I can hardly dislike anything I watched dubbed on TV when I was a teenager, that was the first time we got to meet Korean dramas LOL but now we took another different level. Are you still rewatching Coffee Prince.
I don't plan to watch that film anyway. Some dear friend who knows my taste told me that this film is for me and even without telling me, I know that the film isn't for me. I happen to dislike terminal disease and tragic melodramas with passion even if I like revenge melos.

Don't worry about that Yuki, I already finished Inagaki's trilogy and I loved it. Inagaki and Mifune are simply brilliant. What else do you want me to say?
You've seen it? Whoa, is there a single Japanese drama you haven't seen? That would be too rare! Yes, I finished it and it was really great. Another great choice of mine :p

Is that so? I didn't know that but I am really honored if I may say Dior, you're also one of the closest friends I have in MDL and you will forever be (:
Of course everything depend on my mood! For now, I don't feel like I am in the mood for dramas or even films but I watched some anime in the meantime. This is a delicate part of my life where I need to focus.
I will pick up long dramas when I am in the mood for them. I simply cannot force myself into them just like that. And I am glad you like Yakou Kanransha! I will think about a recommendation until you finish it up.

Sakai Masato is the man! Really, when you see how he was awesome in a comedy role then he turns into a serious mad anger ball; you know how an actor is supposed to be.
Let's see, I am like you. I used to watch many Hollywood films and series and even from my country a little, I also used to watch a lot of Bollywood films and Turkish series but then, three years ago, I hated everything and dedicated all my time to Asian dramas and films that aren't Martial Arts oriented (because I used to watch Hong Kong and Chinese martial arts and Wuxia films ever since I was a little girl). Like you, I watch mainly detective shows and some comedy series and God, I hate the betrayals in their romance oriented series, that made me drop too many series :D
I think Asian dramas is a nice escape but I know that there will be a day where I will be stopping this addiction. However, I didn't stop watching Hollywood series and films and Bollywood films; I just reduced the amount of watching them. Every month, I catch up with the episodes and stop until the other month come in (:

I am glad you liked 3 Idiots, it's really great to get to know other countries' films especially a big land of cinema like Bollywood.
Pien recommended Mahoro Ekimae Bangaichi to you? As you can see in my profile, it's one of my favorite dramas and comedies. I don't know what are your thoughts about the Japanese style of comedy but this drama is very well made comedy with lots of life situations and interesting main characters. I am sure you would relate to it. Oh, and it's short!
Then, how's MARS treating you?

It's a given for people to turn away from schoold drama because, well, let's face it we're getting older and they don't suit our tastes anymore. However, I don't think my case is as serious as yours, I like watching meaningful or even funny school dramas. I have about three of them on my priority list including The Queen's Classroom and you happen to be the first person who told me bad things about it.
To tell the truth, I wouldn't recommend either Innocent Man or Secret unless you're into revenge melodramas. That's why I told you that I hope Beyond the Clouds would be different from them both. However, Innocent Man is a little better than Secret in my opinion but you have to be into the revenge melodramas.
It was very famous back in the days. Would I recommend it? Yes, since you're into a sageuk kick then it's better to watch it while you're in the right mood. I think the original screenwriter didn't have ideas for the second season and MBC is still searching for a good screenwriter for the job.

I see you finished Mahoro Ekimae Bangaich, how was it until the end? And yes silly me, I meant it's very underrated! The second funniest drama after Yusha for me :D
I am also not a specialist in anything but when someone watches films for over 15 years then he has to understand how acting and directing should be like and heck yes, that guy wasn't a good actor at all but I didn't hate his character.
So the weekend ended, how was your round with HKC films?

I want to see sexy Tony but not in mature scenes LOL Almost all my favorite actors didn't do any explicit mature scenes and I am glad to tell the truth.
I see you changed it to Shining Suede, I like this :D
Park Sung Woong and Kim Kang Woo? I am totally in even if the plot seems like a typical mystery. Let's hope it's not.

I also gave Nine a 9, I was really stunned with the storyline that I forgave the acting since screenwriting comes before acting for me.
The Unjust, Yes I already downloaded that film with the will to watch it someday but I have many other Korean priorities to check out first and I don't watch as many Korean films as I do with Japanese and HKC so it may take a long while. But I actually like the Ryu's brothers work.
You're watching Mahoro Ekimae Bangaichi? It was one o the best dramas made in 2013 in my opinion and very overrated as well. I love EIta (I always love Eita LOL) but Matsuda owned the show, he was amazing! It's short so you can finish it up fast.

I also agree that you have to be in the right mood to watch a business drama. If you want to start off with something lighter than Fumo Chitai then you can always try Hanzawa Naoki first.
Whoa, it has been a very long time since I last took a break to watch western shows. I can hardly watch some Hollywood films nowadays. When I go back, I will have a big amount to catch up to :D What are the western series you're following?

No problem Suede (I don't know why but I can only call you with that name) :D
So, I am generally against mature scenes and I deleted many films from my PTW list when I knew they would have explicit sex scenes. However, if there's a stronger element beside those scenes and they're just some trival part of the story and they don't repeat a lot then everything is cool and I can handle them. DOA trilogy had disgusting mature scenes, that was my least favorite part of the film but there was action and other great moments. Ichi the Killer, well I can only say that the gore made it up for everything. Do you get my meaning? I don't want mature scenes to be the focus but I can handle them as side plots.
Now, why wouldn't I watch "Lust, Caution" (you're the fourth person who asked me this question btw)? I know that the film has explicit sex scenes, adultery maybe? I hate adultery so much but that doesn't seem to be the focus of the film. There's one reason only: Tony Leung. He's one of my all times favorite actors ever! And while I can handle some mature scenes, I certainly can't handle seeing one of my favorite actors doing them. I simply cannot see Tony in that type of role.
