I don't watch variety shows and I know I am weird but I also dislike seeing actors in ther real life, the actors' gossip and so on. I just like to see them on screen in a drama or a movie and that's it. Weird, right? But I know why people like VS, I have other sources of entertainment.

So your final statement about Soredemo is still positive?
Oh, and I noticed you're watching Sandglass, How is it? I love Choi Min Soo and Lee Jung Jae but I don't want to watch an old romantic Korean drama.

Yes, I also like to get out from my usual zone sometimes to try things that I am not used to. Another reason being that I downloaded many dramas and films a long time ago when I wasn't so picky and I can't simply delete them without seeing them first. So EC is the only drama you're currently watching? I can't seem to care about starting a drama today so I delayed it for tomorrow or maybe the day after (:
The reason why I plan to watch MFTS is the female lead, I like JJH :D

OCN is my favorite Korean cable channel and if I watch more of its dramas, I am sure it will become my favorite Korean channel in no time. I truly like the way they make detective dramas.
You're also watching Miss Korea? Many friends seem to be praising it but as you know, those dramas aren't my thing so I never bothered even if I find Lee Yeon Hee likeable. Oh and Yae no Sakura, what are your thoughts about it.
I haven't been able to start any drama so I am focusing on movies instead.
A remake of the famous Inagaki trilogy! I will be looking forward to it.

I also decide that I will write a review and currently airing and the news articles once I am finished but then being lazy deprives me from doing so and suggest that I make my list bigger instead :D
Well, for most non-cable Koreal dramas (SBS, KBS, MBC); it's the broadcasting companies that provide subtitles in the first place but for OCN dramas where not everyone are interested in the genres they make (unlike tvN which always produces romances and rom-com that the majority of fans watch), it takes quite a while for the subbing team to get things done.
No, there's no special or movie. Only a 11 episodes drama, nice and short (:

Thanks for the encouragements Sandrose. I actually never cared what people said about me, they have their tastes and I have mine ;)
Your description reminded me of "Byakuyaku", another heavy emotional Japanese drama that feels so wrong but sweet at the same time. Quite intriguing characters and awesome acting. It was truly an emotional ride that I can't seem to forget even though it has been more than a year since I saw it I think. Have you seen it?

Let me know how the rest go with you then (:
Let's see, EC was already a "never" ever since it was first announced. SJH is one of my blacklisted actresses so I won't watch a drama of hers for the world and it's half a medical dramas I can't actually watch medical dramas. So you see what I mean :D
Technically, Orange Days isn't my cup of tea but I really enjoyed and I am glad I watched. Satoshi was awesome as usual but I am glad that he decided to be films' actor instead. For now, I am still debating what to start next, too many choices LOL!
I see you put Man From the Stars on hold. You didn't like it?

Let's see, the strongest reason for my absolute dislike of Shinto and Budhism is because they go straight against my sacred religious beliefs. However, as you said I like Japanese history and maybe you don't know this but I am also fond of Chinese history and Martial Arts that originated from Shaolin (budhist monks) so maybe it looks like I am contradicting myself by liking their history and denying Budhism and Shinto that take a great part in their historical telling. But the thing is that I enjoy all the parts except the budhism/shinto parts. I do watch historicals and I don't actually mind watching monks teaching Kung Fu or Samurai being teached at shrines and so on but I refuse to watch anything where they only talk about Budhism teachings and lessons of life through those teaching. But if there are other elements beside that then I could just skip the Budhism/Shinto teachings and get to the part I am interested in.
I hope you understood what I meant (:

Well, it was good and as I said I surprised myself by liking it. I never thought that I would; I downloaded it about a year ago but I only got around watching it very recently (:
If you need weird Miike recommendations then I am here for any recommendations. But most of Miike films are gory because after all he's the lord of gore and that's what I like the most about him. Some people call him the "sadist" and I just love that :D
You watch variety shows? I didn't know that.

Well, that's the joy for me in gory films. I always like the cutting and the torturing and I also quite loved the scenes in memories of murder because after all that's my job; to see inside human bodies. I was always fond of these things even before I decided to major in medicine but I understand why many people feel very disgusted by it. It's absolutely normal. I am being called a psycho for liking these things so apparently I am the abnormal one :D
I also heard that Suzuki sensei wasn't an unusual school drama and I appreciate the idea. Oh, and how are you liking Soredemo Ikite Yuku? I downloaded that drama ages ago but I still didn't got around watching it.
I just finished watching Orange Days and it was really great.

Absolutely no? That's your imagination Mickey, I was never naughty and I don't need to convince myself with a lie :p
So maybe another week or few other days? Does that sound good? :p
I did and in the male version too because I always loved that word Hahaha Also, I am not exactly an ice queen only a little icy that's all :D

I also rewatch films but they should at least have been about 7+ years since I first saw them. Currently, I am rewatching films that has been 10+ years since I last saw them. Most of them are martial arts and Wuxia films that I saw as a child and my memory is starting to fade away about them.
Let's see; I would recommend Mulan, White Vengeance, Curse of the Golden Flower, ChungKing Express, Infernal Affairs, Saving General Yang. If you watched and liked those then I can give you more.
Are you watching any drama at the moment?

I also think about writing stalker guides for many actors but then, time always fail me and most of the time, I rather watch a film or a drama than writing. I can be quite lazy :D
I wouldn't trust my Japanese that much. It's true that I got the basic expressions and some others but I know I would be lost with detective and historical dramas since the language is not the same. Also, I rather read subtitles then focus on what they say. I told you that I am lazy right?
It started yesterday but I am sure that it will take them at least a week to sub this. OCN detective dramas are always subbed late that's why I rather wait until this over or there's only one episode until the end to start it. That's how I do with all OCN dramas.
Orange Days was pretty heartwarming with believable characters. You know me, I never thought that this type of drama will interest me bit I was proved wrong and I truly enjoyed it. You haven't seen it?

I finished Orange Days and it was truly great. I agree that's better than most of Korean rom-coms, they irritate the heck out of me lately. Now, I don't know what I should start watching, too many options :D
Someone nice as Kai? There's the male lead from "Love Around" but I wouldn't recommend the drama. It was a hot mess. Or just watch "Nada Sou Sou" where Satoshi plays once again, a great caring character.
I heard about Visitor Q and I will watch it eventually because I am on a mission to watch all Miike's movies. I am used to his style actually, I've seen countless of Miike's weird films and I don't think anything else can surprise me anymore :D
So now, are you picking a drama?

Oh well, at least you're not hating Pride which is a good thing (:
I finished Orange Days and I couldn't agree more. All of them were really great and that's coming from someone who doesn't really enjoy these typed of dramas. I like Orange Days a lot. LOL and don't worry about talking too much about it; you have all the right to do so (:
I still don't know what to start next, I think I should be watching a film or something instead. I see from you list that you're not films' person, aren't you?
