Thanks Cheerful for giving us your underrated dramas. I already have the Japanese ones on ptw. I never thought…
I also don't mind watching dramas on my own but it's really unfair when a drama like Heirs rock the sky while Empire of Gold which is way better in any aspect keep being ignored by many people. But well, it's a matter of tastes and I have no problem with being in the minority.
I loved Biblia, I'm happy I watched it. Karamazov no kyodai has been on my list for a long time but for some reason…
Take Five is fully subbed, you don't need to worry about that. Also when a drama is rated 8 or 7 but with few users, it's also considered underrated in my book.
I really liked Empire of Gold and felt quite lonely too ^^ I'll try Iris 2 out and well you're right I didn't…
IRIS 2 has an entire different cast than the first IRIS so it doesn't complete the previous story, it adds a new one with the same questions about the IRIS organization.
I planned more japanese dramas this year, thanks to MDL community. I know they're as good as the korean dramas…
For me they're better than Kdramas but I agree that you need to search a lot in order to find somethig that suits your taste and subbed. I wish you a nice watch with Biblia (:
Empire of Gold...will be a challenge for me to watch. I hope to find it as addictive as the comments on the drama…
Just go through the adventure of Empire of Gold without any expectations of romance or flyffy story. It's a pure twisted business/family drama. I wish you a great watch (:
Also Shotenin Michiru no Minoue Banashi (http://mydramalist.com/japanese-drama/5474/shotenin-michiru-no-mi-no-ue-hanashi)...people…
Oh I heard about that one but I didn't learn that it was fully subbed. I wanted to watch it at some point but as usual; Jdramas subbing is always a handicap.
in the korean category I watched Empire of Gold and hell yes it's underrated, I give it 10 merely because it's…
When I say "underrated", I don't mean in MDL or the rating it got here. Of course that counts but what matters the most are: the ratings it got in its country, the international buzz and the number of people who watched it.
I hope some cool subbers will pick this one up. I will be looking forward to it.
On the other hand, those who plan to watch this and don't have an idea about the history shouldn't read the synopsis, it gives away about half of the plot or so. I am sure it will take them at least 20 episodes to reach the part where he becomes the awesome strategist Gunshi Kanbei.
Toyotomi Hideyoshi a real legend from peasant to regent of nippon, the unifier of japan
But this taiga drama isn't about the Monkey Hideyoshi; it's about his right hand Gunshi Kanbei who was also an awesome general who participated in Japan's unification.

I used to watch 10 at the time but only one is for marathoning and the others are currently airing but now, I am not even doing well with only one drama.
Although I am a bit busy with school, I can have few hours for watching dramas but now, I am back to some series and Hollywood movies that I am ignoring anything Asian (except anime).
How do you like Mars? Did it get better for you?

You like food dramas? I never watched one and I don't think I ever plan to :D but I wish you a nice watch though. Is that the only drama you're watching or you're still keeping up with Empress Ki?
I am watching it slowly than ever. I think I am on my way to a slump but I have to finish it first.

A cable drama and a romance? You know my taste so even if it's him; I won't bother. I plan to watch his Resurrection at some point though.
I read Frech books ever since I was little and Victor Hugo's writings are considered for beginners in the literature so I don't read them anymore but I've got to say that I really like his style. I don't have favorite books because they're so many but I have favorite writers whose books are always great such as Balzac, Jean Pierre Sartre, Voltière and many others that I love. I was away from reading literature books because reading medicine books alone was tiring but now, I figured that I should moderate my readings.
You're watching a sageuk and a Wuxia at the same time? Don't tell me you also started a taiga drama as well?

Thanks DA and Happy belated New Year to you as well. Where have you been? It feels like it's been ages since I last talked to you.
You finished many dramas in the meantime. What are your thoughts about Death Note, Gu Family Book and Arang and The Magistrate?
If they get subbed, I will watch any drama with detective/Mystery in it with S~Saigo no Keikan being my top priority. It all depends on subbing for me, I always take many picks from any upcoming season of Jdramas but the ones I am usually interested in don't get the appropriate attention.
That's the pain of being Mystery/Detective dramas lover because these genres are ignored compared to Family/Drama/Romance/Comedy which I don't have any interest in them *sigh*
