In order to finish Nagareboshi, I had to skip many parts. I wish you luck with finishing it soon Lumi. I also see that you started Mars? It's in fact one of the fewest atypical Taiwanese dramas, how are you finding it?
My reasons for watching Man from the Stars are strictly related to the female lead, she's movies' actress and those type of actors/actresses tend to be excellent and I truly loved her performances in many movies so I am looking forward to see her in a drama role but that's about it. However, I am not a hater of aliens and while I do not love it like I do with the vampire theme, I still don't dislike it. I will probably watch the drama when it's near finishing.
At the moment, I am busy with a packed schedule of studying and I decided to focus on my taiga drama.

So you're not watching any drama of 2013? Then have you heard about Miura's upcoming drama?

Yes I will watch it mainly because of the female lead, she's a great actress. Although I am not quite happy that the drama turned out to be a romantic comedy; I will watch it for the supernatural element and JJH's sake.
I see that you started Reply 1994, how is it treating you?

Aww thanks a lot for cheking on me chingu! You're so kind ^^
Well, I go back to my internship in Monday and the deadline of choosing a major is already here. I will have to work hard for all the lazy weeks I spent home (:
I was a bit disappointed with The Grandmasters to be honest. Not that the acting was bad, on the contrary, but…
I am not saying you're wrong, I aso found the plot quite ridiculous at times but there are some elements that fixed that side a little. I am not overruling your judgement but it's a rule that Martial Arts movies are never about the plot.
Not going to lye I'm not very fond of Action/Thriller, and hate Psychological however I found a couple of movies…
Actually Ip Man and The Grandmaster are Martial Arts movies. Anyway, those are the films that actually shined this year; I couldn't think of others that did as well as those.
I was a bit disappointed with The Grandmasters to be honest. Not that the acting was bad, on the contrary, but…
There are some who didn't like the movie because they're not familiar with Ip Man's story or haven't seen the previous Ip Man films so it's very understandable if it's that way.
still in the comparison between Choi Min Sik and kim bum lol is this article a troll, you can't compare a huge…
You do understand that there has been a little mistake while editing, right? Does this line make any sense to you? :"I mean, how can this be the rage instead of is actually a better actor than the veterans Choi Min Sik, Lee Jung Jae and Ha Jeong Woo? *shaking my head in frustration*
New World, Cold Eyes, and The Berlin File? Are you implying that Kim Bum is actually a better actor than the veterans Choi Min Sik, Lee Jung Jae and Ha Jeong Woo? *shaking my head in frustration*" I already fixed it so read again and see what I originally meant. Only a mad man would prefer a shooting star over a huge star.
I am very delighted to see Tamaki in a detective drama but Gouriki? Again? Do I have to see her in every single season from now on? Let's hope that she will have a decent character this time.

I am not watching any Asian movies at the moment. I am taking a little break from Dramaland to focus on other things. However, I still have Tenchijin on my currently watching list and I need toget back to dramathoning it pretty soon. I just need to be in the right mood for that.

LOL okay, okay. I looked it up and the drama's title is "One Warm Word"; it' s apparently an epic melodrama for your taste :D And I wish you luck with all of the long dramas you're watching, you have some great courage chingu!
I also have a long drama in ly currently watching list: "Tenchijin" but I am not actually focused on it at the moment. I am taking a little break from Dramaland since I am being distracted by other things.

I know the feeling; but I don't dramathon as much as I used to before. Actually, I am taking a small break from Dramaland to focus on other things. Are there any dramas on the top of your currently watching list at the time?

I finsihed Yasha few days ago and it's definitely not the drama for everyone. The permise is good but it's about researchers, medical, psychological brothers' war and many Japanese weirdness but it got a nice mystery, some king of Sci-Fi feel into it. I don't know if you will ever like that.
So you finished R.1994? I am pretty sure you liked the outcome, right? I told you so!

I've seen Nagareboshi and while I am not romance lover like many other people; I found the drama bad, I understood the meaning behind it and all but I can't seem to understand why most people consider it "excellent".
You're very welcome Lumi (: Are you progressing with Kazoku Game? I also see that you started Man From The Stars, how is it treating you.
Well, I didn't hate R. 1994; I actually came to like many parts of it especially the friendship and the bonding moments. There were too many writing problems in the drama though and the length was really too much. If you saw and liked R.1997 then there's no need to not like this.

Thanks a lot my dear friend; I also wish you a joyful year with many accomplishments ahead of you (:
It's not that I didn't like R. 1994 because I did enjoy many parts of it; it's without doubt more focused on friendship and heartwarming relationships but the trolling and the stupid "who's the husband" game got on my nerve even if I didn't belong to any team. What also didn't help is the unbearable length. I still liked many parts of it though.
You're not back to Asian dramas yet? As for me, I find myself getting away from dramaland these days. First because I go back to my internship on Monday and it's finally time for me to pick up my major and second because I got distracted with other things instead; I am catching up with few western series that I found myself abandoning them for months, I am also picking up Hollywood and Bollywood movies that I've been delaying for years so I can't find time to even watch some Japanese classics. And let's not forget that I am rewatching Slam Dunk.
It's hard to give the other sides of the world a chance while being focused on Dramaland. While I finished Yasha few days ago; I am going to wait for a more open opportunity to be fully focused on Tenchijin.

Yes, I heard many good things about In A Good Way but I will never watch it. I gave up on romance centured Taiwanese dramas since a long time.
I also heard a lot of bad things about MHIYD; I am glad that I gave up on romantic comedies even before this drama was released. Have you managed to finish it?
Oh and you're watching Man From The Stars? How is it with you?
