The reason why I haven't watched I Hear Your Voice is because Lee Bo Young is on my black list of actors. I can't stand to see her on screen. That's about it.

Yes, many dramas got ruined because of the late broadcast. I think Kurokouchi is one of them. I already finishd it btw, it was great and one of the most underrated dramas this year.

Someone I loved only once? it's hard to think of anyone because I either like or dislike an actor but I think Kazuya fits in term of acting; I liked his performance in Ore Ore but I disliked almost everything else he did. I like him as an eye candy.

Which brings us to flower boys actors; theyre really overrated while real actors who deserve attention are being ignored. Such a lame shallow world *sigh*

I heard Yae no Sakura had a slow start then it picks up. Let me know how it goes although I am not really a big fan of Ayase. I know that she's a good actress but I don't really like her.

Your general comments about Ryoma are positive. I am glad you liked that drama. I will come to it one day. I forgot to answer your earlier question about where to read about old historical figures. I don't read online; I usually head to the library or just buy some historical books to keep when I find some. I am sorry I couldn't help but I hope you found what you're looking for.

As for Legal High 2; I also liked episode 9 and I am so glad that Miki and his troupe are coming back for the finale. I can't for it to get subbed. I already downloaded the raw video and I am stopping myself from stealing a peek at it. But are you watching Legal High 2? I thought you weren't.

You just have to get pass the first takes of the pilot episodes then things will be alright. I was also surprised to see a nude body in a drama. They do it in movies not also dramas LOL

Well, there are other actors who depend on directing; you know those actors who do exactly what the director tell them to do. Toda Erika is a perfect case, if the director is good then she's awesome; if not, then she sucks. I dislike actors who don't have their own styles and don't work hard to grasp their characters in their own way.

Yes, it kills me the number of internationally underrated dramas especially in MDL. People's likings are weird. I always said that Japan is so professional at making Mystery/Suspense/Detective dramas and everything I am seeing keep confriming my thoughts.

Kobayashi for instance but he hasn't done other Samurai movies so I will have to ectend to other genres just like I did with Kurosawa.

I recently finished Miike's 2013 movie 'Straw Shield'; I actually came to like it and I found it quite different from his other works. I also found some flaws though.

Let's see; there's Vampire Prosecutor; my top recommendation but it's a detective drama. Vampire Host is also a detective drama.
Freeze on the other hand is a human vampire drama and Thirst is also a human vampire movie. If you need more recommendations let me know (:

Where you able to watch both Ryoma Den and Missing You at the same time? They're too different so it could be hard to follow through them.

I know what you mean; knowing the history can help you understand the era better and everything but it spoils you the ending of certain characters. As I remember, Ryoma came by the end of the Edo era; I liked that era since it's a period of peace and we get to see the changings in the Samurai status but I've got to admit that I prefer the warring era better (the one before the Edo: Meiji)because there too many hardcore Samurai generals including my two favorite historical figures Oda and Hideyoshi the monckey.

The one with Junpei? I haven't seen that one but I plan to one day. I've been pushing it back because the female lead is someone who cares about looks and fashion. Anyway, is it worth watching?
