Yes, I totally recommend The Berlin File and there's also Montage if you haven't seen it. They're one of the best Korean thrillers produced this year although the first one is an action thriller while the second is a detective, crime mystery thriller.

I am also working on some Miike's movies' to finish but not all of them. Right now, I am taking a little pause to finish some 2013 movies and dramas.

I am finishing up some of 2013 Japanese dramas and I am also watching some movies.

I saw another Korean Thriller "Montage", it's totaly recommendable. I also changed the mood today and watched a Japanese Sci-fi mystery, detective thriller and I actually liked it even if it wasn't a masterpiece. It's "Platina Data", I don't know if yoou're okay with thriller Sci-fi though.

At least you're liking Sakurai's drama? That's the most important thing.
As for me, I am watching Take Five which is a drama about a group of thieves and I also started KimuTaku's drama.

I will give it a go when I am in the mood for a calm mystery.

I wish I manned up with Taiga dramas before, their length always scared me away but now that I am in; I can notice how far is the level between them and Saeguks especially for history lover like me who likes to see what she read without any imaginary cliches going on.

I agree with you on the golden time; I always liked the old movies even with Japanese cinema, I am forever in love with their classics. I don't know if you ever saw one though.

Since I started watching Tenchijin, I think I will give up on saeguk especially the long ones. Taiga dramas tell the history in the most accurate way. I am a fan of history and I self-studied Japanese, Chinese and Korean history and out of those three countries I find Chinese and Japanese history more involving than the Korean one. So you can conclude my love for taiga dramas. Also, saeguk barely tell the history in an accurate way.

I get what you mean. But you must admit that many people watch romantic comedies to escape reality and just drown into a cheesy cloud. That's a fact I believe.

I see that you haven't gave up on the drama, I also watch low rated dramas to see what went wrong. Are you doing the same?

Yes, I will take this time to watch some good movies especially those that are produced this year. I saw three Korean thriller of 2013 and I have two others on my mind. I also need to finish up three Japanese dramas of this year.

Yes, Sakurai was pretty alright in that role; he had to play that way to show the character's depth. I especially liked his "Iii Nee" and the way he walks of course :D

Really? I thought that they were a lot but not to the point of 100+! That's why I decided to drift away to other directors in the meantime :D

Yes, Kazoku Game can be quite addictive and I am glad you liked it. Many people said that Sakurai was overracting in this. Do you agree with them? I don't because the character he plays demand such acting from the male lead.

Let me know how Yoiko no Mikata goes. Although I have a bunch of Japanese dramas to catch up to since I am injured and takinga leave from the hospital for quite sometime. I also need to keep up with movies :D

I see what you mean. I also believe that some romantic comedies shouldn't have kisses. Although, Bollywood have kisses in their newer romantic comedies (the ones prodiced between 2009-2013) and even some older ones had.

If you dislike it then skip through it or just drop it. There's no reason to keep watching a drama if you're used to dropping them. Maybe you should start something that suits you.
